USA Today recently had an interesting article about the effectiveness of first-trimester screening for Down's syndrome. The article said many women 35 and older get amnios or CVS unnecessarily just because of their age. It talks about how women's risk of having a c-section increases as they get older, and not necessarily for medical reasons. The book is in stores and on Amazon.
