I have a 20 year old daughter and my husband and I are trying to conceive. I had an HSG (all clear) and am scheduled to take Clomid with the start of my next cycle. We have a scheduled appt w/ infertility spec the first week in Oct.
Has anyone gotten pregnant immediately following an HSG? The doctor said it's highly likely this "cleared the pathway to conception". Any other suggestions would be most appreciated!

I had a HSG, but actually didnt get pregnant till my 6th cycle of fertility drugs after it. We did 5 cycles of clomid over a 2 year stretch, got pregnant and miscarried, then did one round of follistim and got pregnant immediately. I felt it was more a game of playing the odds with the eggs. With only a 13% chance of each egg taking, and clomid only producing about 2 full , goods sized eggs at ovulation, it was more of a waiting game. If clomid makes you ill, ask to try the follistim. Its an injectable and the hormone in it is closing to the naturally occuring one in the body. I did have any of the mood swings, or fatigue, or headaches I got with clomid. After this baby is born, I would consider trying for a second, but I would start with the folistim and avoid the clomid.
