Hi,
I am 36 and would like to have another baby. I had a hard labour the first time and was sick off and on for four months after my son was born. I am still br___tfeeding him currently and he is 10 months and my docotor told me that I would have a harder time getting pregnant as long as I was nursing him and he also said that the chance for birth defects would be going way up because of my age so to start to try again soon. My problem is that first I am not getting any younger and second my parents who are my main help are in their seventies. My husband works 6 days a week to support us as I still have about a month left on maternity leave and am getting screwed out of my job. My boss told me that my job was going to be eliminated but yet our accounting girl whose job was transferred to another branch is doing my job. I do not get along with my husbands parents because they smoke and I will not subject my sons health because of their bad habits. Is anyone else over 35 who is br___tfeeding become pregnant and how long did it take after your first child. thank you for your help

Hi there, There a few of us ttc here. We chat on the "May, June and ttcing" thread. I am 37 and ttc #4, my last was born at age 34 and with all 3 of them I had no problem concieving, now I have been trying for almost a year and nothing. So I definately think its age related. There is another women who is 35 and has a 4 yr old and she has been months ttcing as well. Come join us on the other thread, we'd love to chat, good luck!
