Has anyone out there had a high fsh and conceived? I'm 36 adn have a 7 yr old ds. Dh and I have been ttc for over a year and my highest fsh was 16. I did clomid cd 3-7 then hmg shots cd 7-11. U/s on cd 12 5 follies from 14-23mm. Did hcg trigger on cd 12 at 10:00pm then iui cd 14 at 10:00am. My re also put me on progesterone suppositories b/c my lining was thin (6.7). Does anyone know if they cause cramping? I'm 10 dpiui today and tested yesterday-BFN!! I hope I tested too early. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Baby dust to all!!!

Hi, my first fsh test was 17, my second was 7. . I also have one working ovary and one clear tube on opposite sides and am currently pg with twins after a yr of ttc. (it was triplets, but lost one, conceived naturally, after a tubal reversal). I too had progeterone suppositories until wk 12. Prior to trying naturally, I did the meds with no luck so gave them up. I'm now 41 yrs old, Do you ovulate by yourself. I was told I didn't, which was why I was given the meds which screwed up my body, and gave me cysts. Good luck, don't give up.

MNMOM- Yes, I think I will test again on Wednesday. I'm not feeling as optimistic about this month b/c I haven't got any symptoms besides my nipples being a little sensitive and this cramping which I believe is from the progesterone suppositories I'm taking. Boo b do- I do ovulate by myself. That's great that you got pg with a high fsh. I haven't had a fsh test since September. The last was 12.5. If I'm not pg this month, I think I will try one more time with meds since I have some leftover. If I don't get pg next month I think I'm going to try a different approach with balancing my hormones, ma__sage and acupuncture. I'm not going to give up but it so stressful at times especially when you get a BFN. Thanks for you support. Baby dust to all!!!

Hi, sorry I got back to you a little late. I too thought I might have a hormone imbalance as I very rarely had ewcm, which is the fertile stuff. I did some reading from other threads and found that the indian herb shativari is supposed to balance a woman's hormones. I took two pills from the first day of no bleed unitl the day before I had worked out I ovulated each month, that same cycle I fell pregnant with the triplets. I noticed almost immediatley a change in my cm. My friend took them for the first time also after trying for months and fell pg, unfortunately she mc, but is trying again. She did not use progesterone but I'm not sure that was the reason for the mc. They never really know the causes in the med profession do they?
I bought the shativari from OHM healthcare, online. Good luck in your ttc.

Boo b do- What is OHM? Is it a website? I didn't get pg this cycle unfortunately. I 'm trying to feel hopeful. I think I still have a chance. Reading your story makes me feel hopeful. Thanks and I will try to check the shativari out and keep you posted. Hope all is well with your pregnancy!!!!

try vitex herb tincture (found in whole food stores) it balances out hormones in older moms and makes conception easier. may take a few months though.
