Ideas On How To Tell My DH

We have 1 DS 4, who is just our true joy....And Ive had 3 m/c most recently in July. I just turned 42 and we had kinda decided to be happy w/our son. But lo and behold, we should know better than to play God! Anyway, as guarded as we are, Im trying to think of a fun way to tell DH when he gets home from outa town tommorrow. I was thinking of putting the BFP test in the glove compartment, and then asking him to get me something out of it when I pick him up for the airport. Or maybe saying something cute when he notices Im not drinking wine at dinner ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. b/c that like only happens if im sick on deaths door or PG.lol. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Hi suze42 and congratulations! You give me hope as I am 44 and trying...again! If I were to get PG, hopefully soon, I thought of telling my hubby that I made something special and have him go the kitchen and open the oven door and say "look there's a bun the oven" and give him a wink! I'm sure your DH will be delighted no matter how you tell him! Have a healthy and happy nine months!

I don't know if you have cats or not, but if you do......go buy a new pooper scopper, put a bow on it, and hand it to him. He will ask why you are giving him a new scooper and you will tell him, because you are not allowed to do it anymore, etc.... IF you do not have cats, I have noooooo idea. I came across that idea somewhere and thought it was cute because men usually leave the women to clean the littler box (the dirty work). I do love the bun in the oven thing though! Congrats!

thx for the congrats! We do have a long way to go b4 a big celebration. I like the bun in the oven...cute but subtle. We have cats but he already cleans out the litter boxes...I have him trained since pg w/DS4. lol.

Well I put a hamburger bun in the oven..and left the light on, knowing my DH would turn the light off...So i said...did you even look inside? He looked and had a very puzzled look and said "HOW?" lol...told you it was a slow month last month. Anyway hes happy and cautious..like me. Thx for the great suggestions.
