I already have a daughter who is 14 but am recently married and would like to have another child, but I am 48 years old now. Is it possible that I can still have a baby at my age? My husband is 37.

In today's age, anything is possible as long as you are healthy and have a good physician that you can talk to. I am 42 and 14 weeks pregnant... but it took 17 years of marriage and adopting a daughter to make it happen... The dear lord works in wonderful ways. The only thing that I suggest is genetic counseling. I am having an amnio in a week and a half. Good luck!

It is possible for some woman to have a child at 48, however it may require a surrogate and/or donor eggs. Only an RE can answer your question for you following a few tests. Many of us on this site have gone through these tests and for the most part it requires blood being drawn on specific day of your cycle and a cytology, simliar to a pap. Best wishes to you and your family.
