Okay girls so I went for my annual yesterday (Just had my fourth child in April, he is three months old) and my husband was joking that when I had the pelvic sono for the pelvic pain I had a few weeks ago they were going to tell me I was pregnant. So we are having the sono and just talking to the sonographer because we know her well and then she starts asking me some questions and when I told her my lmp she said to make sure I tell the doctor. So anyway the doctor then sees me and I am all undressed for my annual and in the gown with the sheet. He walks in and says, "Why are you undressed?" He always asks me that because I think he is embarrassed but I said it is my annual checkup and then he says well the sono shows a thickening of the edometrial lining of the uterus and a cyst on the ovary and so he said he wants to do a edometrial biopsy but first they need to do a pregnancy test as a formality. So I gave them a urine sample and we were waiting in the room, the nurse got everything ready for the biopsy. So then the doctor comes in and says, "Get dressed my dear and come in my office and we will talk." Well my husband and I were like what is he talking about and my husband said maybe you are pregnant and I said. "NO" and he said then why isn't he doing the biopsy? So we go to his office and he comes in and so does the nurse Rose we know really well and he says, "Okay Rose wants me to see something." and Rose grabs a pregnancy test off his bookcase and shows it to him and he looks at it and says nothing and hands it to me and I see two pink lines and I say "No way this is one of your crazy jokes." and he says, " No I wouldn't joke about this." So I handed it to my husband who ended up dropping it on the floor and that was funny. So anyway the doctor starts asking me a bunch of questions and I told him I took a HPT on the 18th and it was negative and that was a First Response and then I took a dollar store test a few days ago and it was negative. So anyway he says it is a very early pregnancy and he said we need to be cautious and should not tell anyone because while 99.9% sure he is everything will be fine he said there could be something wrong or it could be etopic etc... So I told him I understand that things could go wrong and maybe it is not going to be a good pregnancy but we keep telling him we don't know how it happened and he starts laughing and says that the easiest time to get pregnant is when your cycles are irregular and then he laughs and tells Rose, "Rose, the don't know how it happened they had unprotected s_x from the 10th day of her cycle and they don't know how it happened. Then I told him we pulled out on like day 14 and he laughed again and said if you start then just finish because it is the same so much can come out before ejaculation. My husband and I were in shock and we kept laughing when we remembered that. So anyway he said for me to take my prenatals which I have and you know take care of myself and I told him I have been biking like 5 miles and getting really hot and sweaty after and he said it was okay but I don't think I will be doing that because the last time after I finished I felt like I was going to throw up. So anyway he said I need to go for a quant_tive hcg test on Friday and then see him the following Monday. I am a bit nervous, I mean we are excited and if this is what God wants will accept it joyfully but I am nervous about all the exercising I did and raising my body temp that early in development and I am nervous that they did not see anything other than the thickened lining but I am sure if that was not normal he would have said it did not look good but I worry. Anyway I told my husband I am going to approach this with a positive att_tude and not try to get really stressed about everything and if something happens and the pregnancy does not continue than I will have to accept that it is God's Plan. So I asked him why we weren't doing my annual and he said we would do it next time and then I started to tell him that I thought I may have a yeast infection because last Saturday I had some itching and discharge (TMI) but it went away and I am not sure and he said not to worry and we will check next time. Okay so I am back and when I got home from the doctor I took a first response (I had an extra) and a dollar store test and I did the dollar store test kit first and it looked like it was negative so I did the First Response and it showed two lines and then I looked close again at the dollar store test and you could see a faint line and then I looked at the dollar store test that I took a few days ago (I had kept it) and I could see a faint line. So the First Response just must be more sensitive yet it was neg on the 18th when I took it. I just guess I am still in shock like I thought I might have been pregnant when I originally bought the tests and then I really did not think I was yesterday and it was such a shock. I have been having lower back pain for about a week now and I usually get that when I am pregnant. I guess it has not all sunk in. So yesterday we had tickets to see Brad Paisley at the original Woodstock site which is only 15 minutes from our house and is a beautiful venue now. So it was raining before and after and when walking to the car I felt like I had a blister or irritation right around my inner thihgh where my underwear elastic was and when I got home on both sides of my thighs it was red and irritated, itchy and a little raised and swollen in patches and it was mostly on the sides of my inner thighs but the outer lip of my va___a seemed to have a couple of areas like that and I noticed that they hurt when I touched them like in a sore way and that they were all itchy and I felt itchy and irritated. I started to worry but my husband said it looked like it was from the yeast infection and that it was similar to jock itch. I have had bad yeast infections especially when I was early pregnant for my son (the 14 year old) where the area got red and actually bled but I have not had anything like this for a long time so it worried me. When I woke up it was a lot better but I called the doctor and the midwife called and said that it sounds like it was due to the yeast infection and the discharge can irritate the outside especially if I got moist like in the rain or when I was biking. So she said I could get over the counter creme like Monistat and use it on the outside. She said it was common but you know me I am a worrier and I am like maybe something is wrong and they are just assuming it is yeast but then I say okay she did not seem alarmed. Would love to know if any of you have ever had this like especially where my underwear elastic is it is irritated and the outer lips are a bit sensitive to touch and feel maybe a little irritated. So I will get some creme today and see and I will do a little internet research. I always worry even though I say I am going to try not too. Anyway I have to go for now but will check in later. TTYL
