My husband is 40 and I just turned 42. We recently got married. My biological clock is ticking louder and louder. I recently got off bc. This is my first time ttc. Do you think we'll be successful.

If it helps any, I'm 36 and was not trying, but I got off b/c and got pregnant immediately. Best of luck to ya. I think if you have a healthy lifestyle and take care of yourself your chances may be better.

I'm 38 and pregnant with our first. It took us 3 years, but we were not trying really hard. Also, if you have tried unsuccessfully for 6 months and you are over 35, see fertility specialists. Good luck to you!

Only trying or going to a specialist can really tell you that.

Hi Denise. I think you could ttc a couple of times on your own, and see what happens. But since you don't have much time really, I would see a specialist after that. Because you may need reproductive a__sistance, and you don't want to wait too long, before you ask for it. All that testing takes up time too. Baby dust to you...

You know how you were single one day and maybe thought you would never find a mate. Right? Well, same things goes with trying to conceive. It seems so easy, when our bodies react to everything going on in our lives. Relax, enjoy your life, you husband and it will happen as when you met your mate. Remember, anything is possible. Good luck in you adventure, just remember to enjoy the ride along the way.
