Hello. Does anyone have a good advice on the kind of skin creme to use over the linea nigra on the abdomen? I understand that this scar won't entirely go away after delivering but what's the best kind of creme to use out there that won't leave as much scar? Thanks for your time.

I would consult with a dermatologist first but I do know of a few remedies. Dermatologists have scar removing pads that you can apply as patches.. I would try these as they keep the scars moist and are suppose to work, they even work on older scars, and can help eliminate the redness as well as any elevated tissues..the patches are available at drug stores I think one brand name is Rejeuveness but you could ask the pharmacist or dermatologist. Also, just hydrating the scar is the best thing..time is also a great healer..laser treatments are available as well. However, as far as creams go. I think there is one by Dr. BRant which was specifically designed for women who have had plastic surgery to eliminate scars, also La Mer is good but expensive developed by an astronuat who was severely burned and they use ingredients from the sea to make La Mer and his scars disappeared. Plain old cocoa b___tter is great with vitamin E i think palmers makes that one. As well, retin A products..can help with well healed scars as it provides cell turnover. also, stri vectin is suppose to be good but primarily for strech marks.
If you live in the states Sephora carries many great lines , and so do regular pharmacies for the less expensive lines.
Good luck
