YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness how I have hoped for this day to come. I cried when I read your news and let out such a yelp that my DD promptly stopped wailing (Thanks for that!! - she's now sound asleep!!!!!!) I am so unbelievably happy for you lovemy3 - this is the most fantastic news! Now we'll all HAVE to stick around and help you through the next nine months (although I think by number 4 you should be pretty professional at the whole pregnancy thing!!) It really shows that you can do it and probably that the weight was the real issue. VERY WELL DONE TO YOU (and your other half too of course!!) Looks like your opening comment to this thread brought you luck and has made your 2008 baby come true. What do you think your due date will be? I want to know all the details when you go for your first checkup etc. I will be reading every day to keep up to date so post often (I'm sure you will!!) Gosh - I wish I could give you a great big hug and jump up and down with excitement with you - imagine me doing it and do it yourself!! Get out the party hats and have a ma__sive celebration. So so so so pleased for you. Lots and LOTS OF LOVE XOXOXOXOXOXOX

Tracy - feel free to barge - any time you like. I for one would love to hear your updates to see what I should be expecting in 4 or 5 months time!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All is going well with me and DD - still no real pattern to our days but nights seem to be relatively stable (either once or twice a night for a feed and generally sleeping 3-4 hours at a time which at least I feel pretty rested during the day!) Today's project? .................. trying to take her pa__sport photograph. Very challenging but great fun - she seems to like it too!! We even managed to capture one of her first smiles today which was a joy. Our next challenge is next week. We're going away for 5 days and it normally involves driving for 7 hours with just me and DH but with her, feeds and changes it looks like it could take up to 9 hours (if all goes well!!) so this is going to be interesting. Hopefully it will not be too bad - our plan is to leave straight after her early morning feed (usually between 2 and 4am) so that she sleeps for the first bit of the journey and we can "break the back of it" as they say. Then it will be a matter of stopping whenever she tells us to!! Wish us luck won't you? Can't wait to get away though. My plan is to start pumping a bit while DH has some time off work and he can hold her directly after a feed so that I can pump. Then later in the day he'll be able to feed her and I can take a rest. Can't wait to create some flexibility by bottling some b___stmilk so I hope it's easy and that she takes to the bottle OK. Unfortunately for us we'll have to use disposable diapers while we're away as we have no way of washing the cloth ones - however, I think learning how to pump will go better if I have less things to think about so I don't feel too guilty. Anyway, I'm pretty exhausted today as we've just got back from a walk of about 6km and my feet are pretty sore. Well worth it though and she was so well behaved it was great! Now she's sleeping I think I'll take a nap myself. Big Hugs to everyone - hope you're all well. AND MANY CONGRATULATIONS TO LOVEMY3 AGAIN! oh my gosh - LOVEMY3 - CONGRATULATIONS on the BFP!!!! I'm soooo excited for you! You've waited so long for this... I'm sending you tons of good thoughts... yay!!!!!!!!!!! HOPEFUL, where are you going on your trip? Our first big day outing will be to the beach next weekend. Not five days long, but still, we haven't had to feed the baby outside the home, except for the hospital or doctor's office. I'm really missing the ocean, so I'm looking forward to it. We're going for a big party that our friends are having. All is going much better here. Dalton is doing well with feeding and weight gain, and only gets up once a night to feed... we feel pretty lucky! All in all, he's mostly a pretty happy baby. He gets a big screamy in the late afternoon or early evening sometimes - we're trying to figure out what that's all about. It looks like we're having 2 more showers - one today with our neighbors and one in two weeks with dh's co-workers. There's not really much that we need except another swaddle blanket or two (the kiddopatamus ones are awesome!) and a playmat... But hopefully these gatherings will be fun. Gotta run and eat something before feeding the babe again. Hugs to all, and again, LM3 - I'm so happy for you!!!

LM3-Congrats! I am so happy for you! Like everyone else-I just had a feeling this month might be yours! I'm hoping the same for TTC, let her know she's in our thoughts. As for me-still here. Today is my 39 wk mark. I was hoping to go early, but doesn't look like it. It's hard to be at work. Actually it's hard to do just about anything these days! Just standing up in the shower and I need to sit afterwards for a break. Doing dishes is excrutiating. Fortunately I have a wonderful dh that helps out a lot! Kids have been helpful too. Now that school is out I'm looking forward to having some time off with the new baby and the kids. Taking walks, etc. Right now, walking is so hard. I have an appt tomorrow, I'm not sure if he'll check me again or not, he may wait for another week, but I'll keep you guys informed. Can't wait to share my birth story. Hopeful, good luck with your trip, I'm sure it'll be fine. Nice that dh will be able to share in the feeding experience, it's a great one. Punkin-glad to hear everything is going well, I like the name Joshua too. We still have not come up with a name yet. We have a list we're taking to the hospital and I'm just hoping that when he's born, something will stand out for us! LB-I used to paint all the time but seems like time always got in the way of getting back to it. It's been a real stress reliever and when I have a lot of aches and pains, it takes my mind off them. I'm almost done with the one I started a couple of weeks ago, I may have to get another one if he doesn't show up soon! Again, LM3, big hugs to you (and dh)!!!
