Hopeful and excited - November 12

Dearest lovemy3 - so glad you took my opinion as words of friendship. I hope you're feeling a bit better now. I just did something fun - I copied all my entries since the TTC-ers thread started (by KD back in early August) and pasted them into a doc_ment in my computer. They can act as a supplement to my pregnancy diary. After all they probably have more detail in them than the few entries I've managed to muster over the last 3.5 months! LOL! Glad I'll have them forever now!

Kaykaysmom - I've had the bad taste in my mouth for the last week or so... it's awful! I've been brushing my teeth or using mouthwash like 10 times a day! I've wanted to chew gum but can't find any without aspartame in it (the same stuff that's in diet coke) and I'm avoiding any chemicals like that. If you find gum without aspartame, let me know what brand you found! I've been finding that protein really helps my stomach. I've been trying to have small amounts of cheese or eggs or peanut b___ter when I snack. Bacon is good occasionally too! (without nitrates) Hopefully your m/s will get better as you get into the 2nd tri. Hiya to everyone! We're supposed to get a big storm here later today so I'm cleaning up the house and probably have to go chop some kindling - luckily we have a wood stove so when/if the power goes, we can still stay warm!

Isn't that funny, I went back to till August 15th and read all of them. Seems like just last week. It was very neat seeing everyone get there BFP's. I figured out when I o'd each month and put it on a calendar so now I can keep track. All but one 1 month was on cd19 and 20. Hope everyone is well, I'm feeling better.

lovemy3 - great to hear about your EWCM! Fantastic - and you'd already got the b-ding in so no need to worry there! What CD is it now and how does that compare to the last few months? Hope you're feeling more relaxed now. Lots of Baby Dust coming your way! I've nothing much to report except I still feel like a lump. Me and DH are going into the city today to see if I can find some clothes so I hope it's a successful trip as they're becoming tiring! (Goodness only knows what I'll be like when I need to go and buy baby stuff!! LOL!!!) Anyway, all is well here and I've finally got round to writing a list of "things to do" (only the start of it I'm sure) which we've agreed to start tackling at the beginning of December. I'm concerned that we do as much as we can during the 2nd Trimester as everything I've read talks about how impossible it is to do anything much in the 3rd because of tiredness, lack of mobility etc. I'm actually looking forward to getting on with it all - it's just STARTING that's the problem!! LOL!!!!! So anyway, I'll try and check in again later today when I'm back - if not "a domani" as they say in Italy! Hope you're all well and someone has some good news for us today! TTYL!

Good morning again, tylersmommy...good luck with your results tomorrow...what is Blue Monday? Lets hope today or tomorrow this egg gets fertilized! Still have really DARk DARK surge line today and severe cramping and a lot of ewcm. Don't know if all the cramping is good. its pretty painful and even to cough hurts the pelvic area. who knows, I'm just hoping and praying this is finally it! CD21, kinda late maybe that is causing the cramping--egg has been waiting too long-lol. have a great day!

Should we start a new thread again soon?

Karen E - November 13

Hi ladies. Just got back from my trip and couldn't wait to read all your stories. It was a busy post this weekend. Lovemy3, so glad you got your surge and CM. At least that will be one worry off your mind. As far as cramping goes, most months I would get bad ovulation pain too. Didn't seem as bad when I was younger, or maybe I'm just more aware of what's going on inside of me now. Val, I can relate to bad taste in the mouth. I have that everyday, especially first thing in the morning. A sickly sweet taste that never really goes away. I find lots of water helps me a bit and avoiding sugary stuff as much as possible. Hopeful I know what you mean about an in between stage - nothing fits me and maternity clothes are too big. Sann, 17 weeks, that's exciting! Have you felt your baby move yet? Lovedblessing, I can also relate to the gallbladder attacks. I had them 7 years ago with my son. They were so painful. Mine only lasted for about a month though during my second trimester. I still have mine so am hoping I won't get a repeat. At least you won't have to worry this time around. Kaykaysmommy - the weeping can be annoying and embarrasing for sure. I kept crying while I was reading my novel on the ferry today. My son kept looking at me and giving me hugs. I have good news and bad news. First for the bad news: Just when I thought everything was okay and I saw our little peanut on Thursday, Sunday night I started bleeding and cramping pretty heavily. I was still away visiting my parents and sister so it was doubly hard. I had to travel home by ferry, a 2 hour ride, and then an hour car ride home. As well, had to lug mine and my son's bags, etc. It was a horrible day. Waiting in line to get food on the ferry for my son, I felt like I would faint so my son took my spot and I sat down. My cramps have subsided somewhat but I am still bleeding. Peanut looked so healthy and energetic I am just praying he or she is still okay. The pain on my left side is really bad too and the back cramps. This hematoma is really horrible. The ultrasound tech said it was small, but it doesn't feel small to me. Anyway, I have a doctor appointment tomorrow and he will go over the results with me and hopefully find a heartbeat. I am trying to remain cautiously optimistic. The good news, I think my sister felt really bad about what she said and had a bag of gifts for me and DH that included peanut's first stuffed toy, a book, a card, and a footprint kit that includes a frame and instructions. It was really sweet and we were really touched. I emailed them all peanut's ultrasound pictures before we left so think that made it more real for them. So I am feeling on egg shells again and must admit I really can't take much more of this not knowing what is going on and worrying about him/her. Now that I've seen him waving I really don't know what I'll do if I lose him. Wish me luck for tomorrow and I'll be in touch soon. Hope everyone else is doing okay.
