sorry only just seen your post yes we got results, baby has down syndrome but the good thing is we have now made it to 16 weeks ! the fluid is still very high so this could be a marker for heart defect or something else so i am praying for the fluid to go down, we will find out much more at our 20 week scan as baby will be fully formed then fingers crossed! please wish us luck.

Nicdel, I can imagine that hearing your results had to be difficult. I like your att_tude--you are looking on the bright side and holding out hope. God bless you and your baby for that and I hope you get some good news at your 20 week scan.

Wishing you lots of luck and prayers nicdel...like Perl mentioned you seem to have a positve outlook...I too am behind you all the way..Good Luck with your 20 week scan!! P.S. what was you NT reading that made you decide to go for CVS? again Best Wishes..btw I am 15 weeks 3 days today. With my previous pregnancy last Dec'05..my NT was 4.0...when I went to go in for CVS they could not find a heartbeat..but they a__sumed it was DS..later turned out to have no chromosonal problems, D.S. or anything...just bad luck I guess..Still hoping for better luck this time..so far so good...

my NT reading was 11mm it has increased since but is now slowly going down i need it to go down a lot as the fluid shows the baby's heart is working flat out to protect itself against something that is not working but i have been told it the fluid could completed decrease so I'm just praying it does.
