I am 37 year old and just over 11 weeks pg. I am finding myself waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, only to find that I must have had a night sweat as I am soaked with sweat. I started going through some night sweats (hot flashes?) at night every so often about a year ago, but I am so nervous about having them while pregnant... afraid that I am having a high temperature to sweat will be bad for the baby as well. Anyone else going through this or worried over it? Anyone have any info regarding if this is bad or not? Wishing all a happy and healthy 9 mo's!!!!

I'm 38 years old and I'm 33 weeks pregnant. I have been sweating for the last two months when I sleep. I'm not talking a cute little sweat, I'm talking totally drenching my nightgown and sheets, hair, etc. You would think that I would kick the covers off but no. I wake up every 2 hours to go to the bathroom and I don't think a night goes by where I don't sweat. It's pretty gross. I was worried about it at first but as much as this little girl moves around, I think she's fine. It's probably our body's way of not overheating so we don't hurt the baby. Just think if we didn't sweat how bad it would be! If it really worries you, have a chat with your dr. I finally gave up worrying because I was making myself crazy. I honestly think that everything is fine! Try not to worry yourself and enjoy this. Enjoy your remaining months!
