I stopped having periods about 2 years ago. I am 47 years old and have had 3 children and 2 miscarraiges. So, I am very familiar with my body early in pregnancy. With 2 of my children, I knew I was pregnant and calculated my due date 8 hours after conception and was correct within 2 days of delivery. Is it possible to become pregnant after you have stopped having periods? I sure feel about 4 weeks pregnant, but am too embarrased to ask my doctor.

wow, if you got preg after 2 years without preiods, you would be a rarity. But I have a friend whose mother got pregnant in her early fifties after having stopped having preiods for quite a while, so ya never know. Her preg didn't work out, but she was relieved about that anyway. her dr said ' you're a very fertile lady, Mrs McDonald!'. One of her ovaries spat out an eggs, just like that, after it was supposed to have run out of eggs long before.
