Perimenopausal And Egg Quality

Hi there, If you are 37 and suspect you are entering menopause having some symptoms and you were to concieve in any case, does that mean your eggs are of lower quality i.e chromo defects etc. Just wondering basically if you are showing menopausal signs if your eggs are affected for quality reason. I realize that it may be harder to actually concieve But are the eggs just as good if you do? If that makes any sense at all. thanks so much guys!

Hi, that is a good question.. I am 44, will be 45 in September, had a healthy baby boy 15 months ago, Thought maybe, going thru Pre Menopause, Just found out pregnant again!!!!! What does that tell you.....

Wow, thats encouraging!! I am 37 and have 3 kids. My last was born 3 years ago. We started to try again around dec 05, no luck. Then about 3 months ago my periods only lasted about 1-2 days and were extremely light. Up until then I was getting surges still on day 17 and had cm and cramps. Now with these light/short peiods I am not getting any o- signs. I am on day 14, no cm, no cramps and still have not registered a lh surge. My mom was telling me today that she was completey finished her period by age 43. how come you thought you were premenopausal before you concieved? Thanks for the encouragement, I'm feeling really down today.

I think its the weather. I am feeling very c___ppy today too.I just thought that at my age, menopause should be here. Only heavy periods for about 6 months.

I am 6 1/2 weeks. I live in Virginia, USA
Ususally this time of year around 90's but today rain and temps 75. Do you think you are going thru menapause? I feel that you having a child only 3 years ago, has kept you in child bearing age. That's how I feel, it is with me. My Dr. told me once, that if you stay s_xually active and are having children, its puts menapause off for a while. Doesn't that sound like the advise we want to hear?

Hi there, I do think I am menopausal, mostly because of the such short and scant periods, along with v____al dryness, and the fact that i used to have major ovulation symptoms, now have none and family history. I really do want to concieve this fourth baby and that will be it. I am wondering however if may be its just not meant to be. I have had 3 sections and each pregnancy has been fairly complicated. I guess time will tell. Virginia is a really pretty place. I have driven thru there on our way to florida. How are you feeling for being 6.5 weeks along? What does your dr have to say about your pregnancy?
