I am 37 and 10 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I am concerned because I have been using over the counter facial cream with retinyl palmitate and I've read that this cosmetic ingredient should be avoided during pregnancy. Anyone heard of this? Could the baby absorb it and be damaged?

I wouldn't worry about it. Do a search on retinyl palmitate and first trimester on google. If it's over the counter, it probably doesn't have much in it anyway.
