Pregnancy At 43

I am 43 and have not had a child in 17 years. I did an u/s and there was a yolk but no fetal pole. I am due for another scan soon, but I started passing cloth blood the same day I had the first scan. Does that mean I have lost the baby?

Hi Barbara - I hope not, your dr will have to do another u/s to know for sure. I pa__sed blood clots during one of my pregnancies, but carried the baby to 5 1/2 months. Please let me know how everything is, and how you are doing. I will keep you in my prayers.

Hi Nancy sorry for taking so long to get back to you.Unfortunately I had a miscarriage at the end of January. I have not given up yet.

I am so very sorry to hear that and at the same time I am so touched by the courage behind your reply "I have not given up yet" - Me neither! - You will be in my prayers. Did you have a d&c? I had one in November and am hoping on the 28th of this month I will test bfp - I am also doing my best not to obsess about it! Please know that my thoughts & prayers are with you & I wish you a sucessful pregnancy very, very soon.
