I am 36 yrs old and 10 weeks pregnant. I thought I was done after my second. My husband and I tried for several years for a 3rd child and it never happened for us until now!! I am excited, but also worried that I may be too old for this. My youngest is 11yrs old.

I am 36 and preg with #4. I have to admit it was easier when I had my first (I was 24), but so far so good! DD2 was born just before my 35th bday and her birth was the easiest so far!

I have just found out that I am at the end of three weeks pregnant yesterday, I am 36 in September. I was always sure that I never wanted my own children as I had a very abusive past and struggled to maintain a long term relationship. I thought if I was ever fortunate enough to have the right partner I like to foster a child. No I met someone special, but my partner has already two children from a previous relationship,he loves and looks after the children but the mother is mentally ill and makes live very hard. I am unsure, with all the obstacles and my age, that I should have this child...I also struggle to adjust my perhaps outdated view...and I am petrified about the prospect of bringing a nother human being into this world, the thought of never being alone- I know this sound weird, scares me so much. I am very responsible and very capable and caring, and I am also aware that this perhaps is my last chance. Has anybody experienced anything similar ? I am very grateful for any comets. I am going to see my Doctor tomorrow to discuss options- so far only my partner knows- and he is supportive but I am not one hundred percent sure he really wants this child either, but he would be there for me/us.
