I want to be upbeat & happy, but I feel lousy! I've had other children & NEVER been sick like this. Terrible headaches (feels like sinus sort of) that wake me up at night & really nauseous all day everyday. Tired of course. My 'baby' is 3 & I don't remember feeling this tired. And have never been this ill. Anyone else? Could this indicate a problem? I'm 40 (this was s suprise!) and we have 6 kids (4 at home) & at 8 weeks. I was ill realy early on (like before I took a test). And I don't remember my br___ts ever being so tender. What's up with this?

akmom, Im so sorry you feel so c___ppy.
I have had the exact same sinus/headache stuff...its miserable..last night I was laying on a heating pad w/a cold compress on my face!
I also have nausea thru out the day.
All I can say is what my Nurse said...its alot harder as we get older...she said I would feel it more this time than w/my DS4. So age could be the factor.
I have been really feeling depressed the past week, b/c Im so tired and yucky and lazy. But remember this too will pa__s.
Hang in there..and remember you are not alone!

I was sick too and didnt quit until 16 weeks along.
Boil fresh ginger root (peeled and sliced) for an hour and drink the liquid, about 6 ounces, it will give you relief that will have you worshipping the ginger gods.

Hi there, I am 34 weeks pregnant with my first child after having two m/c. We did IVF and were successful first time round and I thought ten weeks of injections would be the toughest part of pregnancy, then the morning sickness kicked in. It really knocks you for six and I had it from week 7 to week 20. My doctor changed my vitamins which made a big difference, reduced the iron, and told me not to worry too much about what I ate in the first trimester. I ate big mac meals with chocolate milk which I always frowned on but when I got a window of 5 minutes and feeling ok that was the only thing that worked. I'm glad to say that my diet has improved somewhat and that baby is a healthy 4lb baby so far and we've another six weeks to go. I found bagels and cream cheese worked too. Just get yourself through each day and it will get better, and rest as much as you can - household duties can wait and don't try to be super Mum. Good Luck
