Well, there isn't anything not harmful about killing the fetus, but I guess an abortion would be her choice. Is that option one you truly didn't think of on your own??

Delirious, are you sure that she doesn't want to have the baby? Forgive us ladies if we don't seem very sympathetic to you but way too many times we hear from many heartbroken women on these boards whose boyfriends are forcing them to end the pregnancy or threatening to leave if she does not have an abortion. It just is not right. It would be easier and safer for you men to get a vasectomy than to ask women to get an abortion each time she gets pregnant. Stay out of the decision making process unless she asks for your help. Be there for her after she goes through with it if she does! Let her do the research and let her make the decision. If you are too pushy with the abortion information, she will resent you deeply. If she really wants an abortion she will find all the information she needs. The doctor who performs the procedures will fully inform her of her options if and when SHE makes her choice to end the pregnancy. Good luck to you both.

I think she needs to see a doctor and a counselor asap...how old is she? Because this section is for over 35 and by that time a women is that age she should really think hard and long about making such a decision. Most of us here are pregnant now or want to be...so I think to ask this question here is a bit off. I am not against abortion completely for the right reasons..but I wanted my pregnancy very much and abortion just seems so foreign here..i hope she gets the help she needs...especially for the life of the growing fetus inside her! Delirious, Can you give us more info..on this situation? Are you her partner (male)? How old is she? Why are you considering terminationg..are there any health reasons or is it a bad relationship? Please help us understand why? Kristin

Delirious ..... I agree with the ladies!!! Children are God's gift and many of us here... who had either suffered a miscarriage and trying to have another baby or been trying to have one for years, your question is totally off here. Don't think any woman will want an abortion by choice(a life is growing inside us). Do you want "HER" to end the pregnancy, it's your baby too, right? Both of you may or may not get another chance to have another baby, think !!!!! God bless you both.
