TTC After 2 M C

Hi girls, I've got still 3 years to hit 35, but with my history of 2 m/c, I'm a bit concerned. Also with both pregnancies we got pregnant straight away, but now it has been 10 months and no success. I've had lots of blood testing done after the 2nd m/c and I have now been back to doctors and I've had thyroid function, FSH and progesterone checked - apparently all fine. And so is my husband. I've always had regular periods. The next step is a gynecological examination before sending us to fertility specialist. Anyone out there TTC for their first one or anyone who got pregnant naturally after trying for such a long time? Thanks s lot!

We finally had our first baby after ttc for about 14 months at the age of 36. Took clomid for a few months, then stopped and became preg the next month. Good luck, try the ovulation predictor kits, that worked for us.

Hi there. With my first 3 at ages 26,31 and 34 I got pregnant first try naturally. With my last born in january, 38 yrs old, concieved at 37, it took 15 months for some reason. All tests showed everything to be fine but it took 15 months of ttcing with no explanation. I still concieved naturally for my last, but used OPK kits to track ovulation. Good luck.

Girls, thank you very much for your replies. This is my 2nd cycle on the ovulation predictor. Although I do believe we've always covered the right time because I know exactly when I got pregnant twice before. I guess I'm just looking for a hope and support as at the moment it feels like an impossible dream. But reading that ladies are having healthy babies in their late thirties, even in early 40s, it has given me lot of hope. Can't wait to be parents.
