Hi all I just wanted to let everyone know that is 35yrs and older things do work out! I am 35yrs old and just had my baby on Jan 11th and he is prefectly healthy! I went thru alot, I had a positive result on the afp test for trisomy 18 and had to have 2 level 2 sonos and nst every week twice a week but in the end my baby boy is JUST PERFECT so I just had to post for all of you ladies out there that are facing being high risk for being older and maybe having test results that are scary things do work out and soon you will be holding your healthy little one in your arms good luck to all and take care!!

Did you brave the amnio? I think I'm too scared to have one. I'm 35.

HI rk and 1st timer to answer you rk I had a v____al delivery and it went fine did not have time for any pain meds no time I have very fast deliverys!! and to 1st timer I did not have an amnio I felt that there was too much of a risk I did however get the level 2 ultrasouds done and based on what that told me and my husband did not want to take a chance....best of luck to you both and keep me posted on how things are going for you two!! Keep the faith and everything will work out fine!!
