To Lily and Cindy, who answered my post "Not only for 35 and over."
Apparently there has been some kind of misunderstanding. I´m not upset that the category Pregnant Over 35 exists, since that would be to say the least, absurd. I´m upset at a post that someone wrote here t_tled "This forum is for pregnant and 35," and made it clear that those who did not meet these requirements were not welcome. It upset me even more that there were many others who agreed with her.
I´m pregnant, but I´m 28. Does that mean I don´t have a right to post messages here? Like I said in another post, even though I´m younger than 35, I am facing issues that 35+ pregnant women are facing, since my baby was not "naturally" conceived, and in cases like mine, doctors recommend extra tests.
I like visiting this category, as there are many posts about triple screening, amnioscentesis, etc, that I find particularly relevant given my situation. Therefore, I don´t like it when I´m asked to stay away because I´m not old enough for this category.
I hope I´ve made things clear. Thank you.

Paula, there are all kinds of posts about your type of problem that are not necessarily grouped by age or in this category. There are practically posts for every type of problem (as in the pregnancy complications category). This category is for pregnant and 35+ for a reason. Us girls are older and have 35 year old issues. It's not hard to understand. Do what you want, but if everyone was so bent on being problematic, these categories wouldn't last.

I did not look backwards to see what someone posted to you. However, I DO know that there a post that pops up every once in a while reminding people of the over 35 category. I don't know if anyone singled you out specifically. I would not tell anyone that they don't have a "right" to post ANYWHERE. I am not a site owner. I am sorry you found this upsetting but I am quite sure (and I hope) that this category remains t_tled as it is. You are clearly very mature and I don't just people by their age in numbers - my darling hubby is ten years younger than my 38 years! :) Take care of yourself and again, best wishes for a healthy and happy pregnancy and birth.

Cindy, thank you for your good thoughts and wishes. I wish you a wonderful and healthy pregnancy as well. I just want to state that at no point in time did I suggest changing the name of this category. There´s no need for that. It was just that particular post that I mentioned that bothered me, and not anything else about this category.
As to the first poster whose name is the post is for 35+, all I have to say is I´m not trying to be problematic. I don´t understand why you´re so defensive. The ONLY reason why I visit this category is because they talk about tests during pregnancy, like amnio or CVS, that they don´t talk about much in other categories. My intention is to get as much information as possible on this topic, and NOT to create any problems as you think I am doing.

Paula, no need to be rude by singling us out by name with a post. If you behave that way, nobody will respond to you and there is some good advice on here. Nobody can stop you from reading anything for god sakes, and those who want to respond will. But to make such an issue and publish our names like we are culprits was uncalled for. and hurtful. Especially since we are of age for this group.

It was not my intention to offend you, really. The reason why I included your names was because it was especially directed to you since you answered the post. I was trying to get your attention, but I did not think for one second that it would hurt you. I really wanted to clear up this misunderstanding, and not single you out. Do you think the message I wrote to you is offensive? If so, I apologize, because that was far from what I wanted to convey. You mention the word "culprit." Please explain to me what I´m acussing you of.
What I wanted to explain was that I was under the impression that you thought I was complaining about the mere existence of this category for 35+, when I was in fact complaining about messages like the one I told you about, and not at all about the category itself.
