Hi mmelo .. Sorry : ( can't post on your thread. I'm so happy that you're back, it's been a whlie ... since Apr. I'm sorry : ( ... I didn't get an answer from girlfriend for you (she's kind of "MIA" too) : ( and then this problem with loging in : ( Sorry ... about you IUI :( Hey ... it's Ok to be negative once a whlie ... : ) I totally understand the frustrations, some days, I'm up ... feeling positive on top of the world, some days ... I feel the world crumbling down on me/cry the whole day and there are days, I get angry for nothing at my dh : ( so you see you're not alone. Sorry ... I can't help with you. I'm still reseaching, the info I found seems to be a lillte contradicting : ( ... not alot help. Reason... why I haven't started on any med for ov and ART yet. The age ... I'm keeping my stand, age is not a "definite" factor, don't matter what the stats are or say. Since coming back to Asia (a couple of years ago), I've seem women whose in their late 30s & 40s pg with their 1st : ) I started TCM treatement about 18 mths ago at Inst_tution of TCM, they have a specialist unit/clinic for fertility issues, they have very positive stats of women in thier 40s having their 1st baby and some of these women opt not to test for DS etc. I've met them and seem their beautiful babies ... perfectly healthy and normal, by the way physician had her 1st in her 40s too. However, the key word for TCM is patience(which I don't have alot of), the treatment process take a while(depending on individuals & takes min. 3 cycles) before you see results. And not just in Asia, I read in the US, many doctors are doing ART and/with TCM thing too, so you have the "best of both worlds" there : ) Hope I cheered you up ... so the age thing, to me is just a number : ) If you like, come join the "Cycle Friends ...
