I did not want to respond on your update post as the negativity and arguments going on there cannot possibly be helpful. I want to wish you all the luck and good wishes in the world. I am so very glad you gave us an update as I have been worried about you every day. Trisomy 21 is devistating and I applaud you and your hubby on your strength and commitment to your baby. Good luck and please keep us updated.

I agree with you. I too was upset with the posts on the other line. I wish you much love and support on your journey.

Thank you ladies, it was very upsetting, thank you for the love and support. I am hanging in there and will take good care of my trisomy 21 baby regardless of what is in store. I don't feel we are being selfish like @ says, I think we are being unselfish and have no right to terminate his life!! Will keep you posted. God Bless,
Sylvie

I am glad you will keep us updated Sylvie. I want to tell you about my SIL whos brother and wife (they are 23) had a DS baby last year. It came as a surprise as they are young and no one tested. Well that little girl is just the sweetest, warmest most loving child around. She is a joy to her family as well as her older sister. Sometimes what you think is a curse can actually turn into a blessing. She (Jordyn) was born healthy but with a small hole in her heart that will need to be fixed one day. I wish for you such a wonderful and loving child as Jordyn.
