Hi ladies : ) How was your weekend ... had fun : ) RE : The "Hormones malfunctioning thing", I've not hear of it either : ( I've heard of dyfunction but nothing I check on the web that says malfunction. And none of you heard of it either ... could it be a translation error on my part cos my physician speaks mainly chinese i.e. mandarian and I'm not good with it. RE : Thin uterine lining - the measurement was taken last pregnancy .... threaten mc. That was when my ob/gynae said it didn't built up enough which was not "bright" for sustaining the pg (plus no fetal hb), my mistake for explaining further on my last post. I haven't gotten it measured since ... is there a need to get it measured again ??? My ob/gynae haven't mentioned anything about it. Is it a norm for all of you (in the US or Cananda)??? I did had 3 follow-ups acompanied 3 u/s after d&c, my ob/gynae said everything's fine (she check everything out at the same time during the ops ... tubes and all). Well, she said she didn't had to do much sc__ping cos I did have a natural mc and we could start ttc after 2 cycles. Ohhhh ladies ... did I tell you what happened on the day which my d&c was schduled. That morning when I was getting ready to go the hospital ... I mc'd at home. I'm not sure what I should call it ... "the yolk sac", was the size of a golf ball fell out from me. And I mean literally fell out and onto our bathe mat. Scared the day lights out of me and Dh that morning ... I had to bag it then brought it along with us to the hospital for my ob/gynae to order a pathological evaluation. PERL - Oh dear ... I didn't ask my og/gynae about what you said (about women having healthy pregnancy right after d&c) ... it didn't cross my mind, aren't I an idiot : ( It's a long story, ladies.... I'm actually seeing 2 doctors( for fertility), my ob/gynae(c_m Re) and my TCM physician. I think my ob/gynae said, progestrone supportories or something .... will help to build up the uterine lining. She haven't ordered any meds cos she knows I'm on TCM, it's not possible to do both meds at the same time. My physician has been prescribing herbs/meds for balancing/regulationing the hormones however I didn't see her for almost over a month, till last Friday ... Dh & I decided to take a break( which was last cycle), maybe that's why last cycle was long and weird cos I wasn't taking any meds/herbs in June. TRYINGx3 ...thanks for the info, thought I was "abnormal", the linea nigra being faint and still visible after all this time. By the way, I turned 37 begining this year. Ladies ... I feel like I don't know my body anymore, it's just so hard to figure out what's happening every cycle. I had some "sticky milky" cm yesterday afternoon, it's only cd14 for me today (I usually ov on cd18-21) ... ov is early this cycle??? Is that a good sign??? I'm going to test for ov tonight.... wish me luck : ) Ladies ..thanks so much for listening : ) LOL

Sann, I was worried you weren't getting any fertility treatment because I didn't know too much about your history but it sounds like you have 3 different doctors helping you out which is great to hear. I'm not sure what TCM is though. So it sounds like you are taking some herbs/meds for fertility but not any progesterone because of TCM. I misunderstood and thought that your uterine lining was thin now (as opposed to right around your last pregnancy m/c. No, my doctor does not measure the lining but one time a while back when I complained that my periods seemed to be disappearing or decreasing from heavy flow for 3 days to a very light flow for 1 1/2 to 2 days, the nurse pract_tioner told me it meant that my uterine lining was very thin but that was way back when I was still on birth control pills. She considered it a good thing back then when I was trying to prevent pregnancy. Guess that's why they told me to wait a few cycles after I went off the pill before TTC. ***Sorry to hear about your experience with your last loss. It's very difficult to experience and see it the way you did. I also had natural m/c with 4 weeks of heavy bleeding so know how sad it is to see loss of large amounts of tissue. Good that you were able to get a pathology report--it helps somewhat to have a clue as to what the problem was. I'm 37 too Sann, so please don't go thinking that it's impossible to conceive at our age. To this day, I could not really tell how I was ovulating based on cm but I know that a lot of women rely on that as a marker for ovulation. Good luck on the ov test.

Sann, Ditto what Perl said...glad to hear you are seeing specialist...there are so many things out there that docs know about to help us get healthy babies here. I have not heard of anyone specifically "getting" their uterine lining checked unless that is something that my ob did after my d&c's. I am not familiar with TCM either. I was never able to cm as an indicator, but didn't temp or chart any of that stuff - just used ov predictor (stick). AF was pretty much clockwork for me...so I had a good shot of knowing when to use the sticks. I turned 36 this summer. My husband would like us to try for a boy after we get our little girl here - a__suming everything goes well. So...I'll be one of those 38/39 year olds wondering if I am too old to do this again! :-)

Perl - July 24

Tryingx3: I'll be with you but on the flipside, trying for a girl and I'll be the oldest among us three, trying again at 39/40. We will all be okay and great mothers too because even though we're older than we probably expected to be, we are also wiser and we're still relatively young--certainly young at heart. : )

:-) I think the babies will keep us young too...at least I hope so. I do worry about my stamina! Even in my 20's I needed my 8hrs of sleep - hopefully I got enough that decade to help with the next one coming up! ha ha

Cissy - July 24

Hello Sann and everyone. I wanted to wish you luck on the ov test.. I too am waiting for the "stick-two purple lines" to tell me if I am ready to go.. I have been testing for four days now and still nothing.. but today I feel tenderness in my b___st and also noticed a "sticky milky" cm yesterday... I am 36, soon to be 37 trying for baby #2.. I wish us both luck soon.. I am really enjoying having this site. Thanks to all who are letting me be a part of their experience..

Cissy - Ovulation predictors worked for me each time, 1 time it took 1 month, 1 time 5 months, the last time 2 months to get pg.

Perl - July 25

Hi Cissy, I also wish you and Sann both luck very soon!!

I also used a towel after BDing...would lay on folded towel for about 20 minutes to help things move up stream!
