I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who has had a tubal reversal and succesfull pregnancy. I had my tubal ligation 9 yrs ago and I am with someone now that I want a child with badly. My OB says most women my age having babies are doing it through egg donation, but we really want it to be my egg if at all possible. To make it even more challenging I only have one tube they tied due to a tubal pregnancy about 15 yrs ago. I have been pregnant 6 times with 2 boys ages 22 and 8. Four of those pregnancies occured with one tube so I am hopefull.

Thanks for the website. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am so glad to find this web site. All I heard before was negative comments about older women having babies. This gives me hope.

I am 41 and going to have a tubal reversal done on May 27th. There are several ladies on the message board (of where I am going to have my reversal done) that are in thier 40's. One lady, who is 47, just had a reversal done last month! Never give up hope!

This may sound crazy, but try having a hyterosalpingogram done. I had one done years ago and although one tube was completely blocked, the other tube was clear but probably cleaned out due to the procedure. That procedure was done in November 1997, I was pregnant in December 1997 and delivered in September 1998. It can be done with one tube. You may not even need to undergo reversal.
