Tube Clamp Reversal

I am 40, have 3 beautiful children (21,16 & 12) and am with a new partner after my marriage failed several years ago. My partner is also 40 and has no children of his own and would love to. About 4 years ago I had my tubes clamped and wonder if anyone can help me out with letting me know how they went having them reversed and how long it took them to fall pregnant. I had no problems falling before but I know it gets harder as you get older and more risks. It also scares me a little as I definately had no plans to have any more children. Thanks

My tubal was done with the loop cut and burn method 13 years ago. I had a reversal in Oct 2006. My children are 18,16, and 13! I am still with DH1 but anyway the surgery was about 2 hours long and the incesion is about the same as a c section would be. I was able to start TTC in December and I concieved in Feb and had a M/C. I was able to try again right away as i did not have a D&C so I am currently 6 weeks along now! I used the clear blue easy fertility monitor to help me know how to time intercourse. It is truly a miricle how they can take tubes and repair them now. 13 years ago I thought i was haveing it done so it could never be fixed. Thank God for medical advances! Go for it you and DH will be so glad you did and yours will be easier to repair than mine were! Hope to hear when surgery is scheduled soon.
