I just had my 2nd level 2 u/s at 22wks and the measurements are, in my opinion, a little screwy. At 18wks when I had my first level 2 u/s all the measurements came back between 18wk0dy and 18wk5dy. Today they ranged from 20wk5dy to 23wk2dy. The lower dates corresponded to the head circ_mference and biparietal diameter and the later dates(23wk) corresponded to the extremeties. The doctor also commented on a "strange" area in the placenta that he "just didn't know what to make of it" (thanks Doc - nice and vague!) and that he was going to recommend f/u u/s to measure fetal growth. He said the area could possibly signify a clot, but wasn't sure. As much as I am trying not to, this is kinda freaking me out. Any body else have this experience? I have not had any symptoms such as cramping or bleeding and baby is moving. My OB visit is on 2/13 and I am trying not to drive myself crazy. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
