I'm 37 and have PCOS. I got married five months ago and we have been trying to get pregnant since. I went to my OBGYN last month and he found physical evidence of ovulation, but asked me to do a progesterone serum test 10 days later and my progesterone level was only 0.266 which he said meant I was not ovulating. He put me on 1000 miligrams of Glucophage (metformin) which I have been on since. The issue is, that despite the fact that for the past few months my periods have been regular, this month I have yet to have a period. My last period was on the 24th of October and there is no sign of another period showing up and today is the 15th of December. In the past when my periods were delayed I would have soreness in my br___ts and other pre-menstrual symptoms, but this time I feel nothing and this is making me worried because I don't know what's going on. I have done two home pregnancy tests, last one yesterday, and both have turned out negative. I also thought that with a progesterone level of 0.266 done on November 17th, that it wasn't possible for me to be pregnant. I need help to figure out what's going on, what I should and if there is a chance I could be pregnant and that the home tests are wrong. I would appreciate any input, feedback or help.
