Hi, my name is Tracy. I have been on the infertility forum for quite some time, and just got my BFP a week and half ago. Just thought if anyone else is due in May that a waiting buddy would be nice!

Val - September 21

Hi Tracy, can I join you over here? I'm still in disbelief, but hopeful that this will work out. I'm due May 28th. Did you get your hcg levels tested?

Hopeful and excited - September 21

Congratulations Tracy88! I'm actually due at the end of April but as first babies are often late, I'm expecting it to be May. There are a few other "May" mummies on the "I am looking for a pregnancy buddy - due 4/18/2006" so perhaps you and Val want to join us there - the more the merrier. In any case - I'll be keeping in touch as we're not that far apart. WELL DONE TO YOU AND VAL!! Speak to you soon.

Tracy88 - September 21

Val, are you crazy, of course you can join me over here!!!! I'm still in disbelief too. I go away for less than a week and I come home to find out you are PG! I could not be happier for you. Hopeful and excited, thanks so much for the happy congrats. Right back at ya! Val, what do think? should we join them on the other thread or stay here??? Oh, well, now that I think about it, I am going out of town again on Friday for about a week, and if we move over there you will have others to talk to while I am gone. Let me know what you think. Congrats ladies. I'm so happy we can all be posting here!

It's twins!

Val - September 21

Hi Hopeful - thanks for the offer to join the other thread... I'll check it out, although I think I'm closer to June than April! TRACY, where are you going this time? I can't recall. How are you feeling? What symptoms are you having?

Val - September 21

Oh my gosh, I just read about the twins on the other thread... we must have crossed our posts! TRACY, I'm so excited for you! How are you doing? So you're not going to NY? I'm dying to know what your symptoms are and what your hcg levels are.

Tracy88 - September 21

Val, I was supposed to go to NY and Vermont but the doctor has put me on bedrest for a few weeks since they discovered during my U/S that my ovaries have hyperstimmed due to the shots and that there is more than one in there. So, I won't be going anywhere. I think since I am closer to June, I will stay here as well. Symptoms, hmmmm......... I wake up tired, I have moments that I feel I just need coffee or a nap. Over the last few days, I have had some minor queaziness, and I have to make sure I eat or I feel like my blood sugar drops. Oh, and my b___bs hurt some days more than others. Today is a not so painful b___b day. How about you????

Val - September 21

T- your symptoms sound like mine. Some tiredness, especially in the afternoon/eve. My b___bs hurt some, but not regularly - they sort of ache every now and then, like reminding me they are there! I'm really bloated (that's fun), and have had some nausea, but it's pretty fleeting and mostly when I'm hungry. Wow, I'm so excited for you. What did your dh say? HCG rates: my first at 14dpo was 242, and the second at 16dpo was 606, so it doubled in just about 1.5 days.

Tracy88 - September 21

Val, your numbers sound awesome. I'm so happy for you. My doc's office called a little while ago because my progesterone level dropped from 114 to 70. I have to start taking prometrium tonight. I'm a little scared that the number dropped, but the nurse said that 70 is still fine, they just want it higher like it was since it was high to begin with. I got a little more nauseous today. I am getting really scared of the whole morning sickness thing. I am on the brink of it starting and although it's a good sign, it is quite unpleasant when it's really bad, so I am petrified especially since I have double the hormones kicking here! Are you teaching a lot right now? Who is going to take care of the heavy duty farm work?

Val - September 22

T- They are probably just giving you the prometrium to be on the safe side. I think I'll stay on it through the first trimester. Are you about 5.5 weeks today? I remember ms kicking in around 6 weeks last time. It wasn't too bad though... I hope yours isn't either! It's definitely a bummer to be nauseous all the time, except this time I think I'll be so happy to be pg that I won't mind as much. I am teaching a pretty full load - about 40 students. It's just 4 days a week, about 20 hours, although I do have a couple of Friday students. Not sure what I'll do about them... I go to their house (most students come to me at the store) and I'm really paranoid about getting sick. (And there are like 6-7 people who live at that house! I think I'm going to talk with all my student's parents and ask to please let me know ahead of time if they are sick. I don't really have much heavy farm work to do. DH only has 1 more work trip this fall, and I think he'll make sure I don't have to lift anything. I've already been trying to take it really easy and plan to continue that!

Tracy88 - September 22

I have been so busy today with family. My sister and niece are still here, so we went to the beach and the pool. I am about 5.5 weeks and I already feel like a whale. I am bloated due to the OHSS, so that probably has something to do with it. I'm glad I quit teaching elementary school, because I would be so worried about getting sick while teaching. Sometimes there is noone to cover your cla__s, so....... Today I woke up and started freaking out because my b___bs didn't hurt anymore. I thought the worst of course. They are more sore now, so I am more at ease. I have to tell you, I am having the hardest time keeping my eyes open today. Hopefully I will sleep good tonight. I'm glad to hear your husband only has one more trip this fall. I would definitely talk to the parents of your kids and have them give you a heads up when someone is sick. I am taking time off from work for God only knows how long. Right now it's just because the doc has me on "bedrest" for the next few weeks, and then we'll see how the morning sickness thing goes. Pregnancy nose kicked into high gear today. I smell everything and it's driving me crazy. DH has to go clean the litter box NOW!!!! I hope you had a good day. I will check on you in the morning.

Val - September 22

Well, p-nose hasn't kicked in fully for me, but p-brain definitely has! The only place I had to be today was my student's house for lessons at 4pm. I helped dh set some posts for the new barn this afternoon and came inside with what I thought was an hour to spare. I showered, puttered about on the computer, read a few minutes and left at 4:35, thinking I had 25 minutes to get there, never realizing that I should have left an hour earlier! The funny thing was, I knew the lessons were at 4 and would be over at 5 since I was a bit worried about "rush hour" in the town nearby where I was planning to grocery shop, but somehow I never realized that I was an hour off until I looked at the clock in my car. What a dope! DH keeps coming in here and kissing me and laughing. Man, the bloating is a bummer... I'm huge! Going to have to wear very loose dress for work tomorrow! Are you having a good visit with your sister and niece? Did you tell her? Are you telling many people yet? Mmmm, dinner smells good... minestrone soup I made from scratch last night. And I bought ice cream for dessert. Naughty, I know. I can't get enough milk and water these days. Hope you have a good night! :-)

Hopeful and excited - September 23

Val - love your post about being an hour late. Very funny!!!!! :())) Hasn't happened to me yet but I do remember that from last time - my husband calls it being a "dim bulb"!! LOL!!! Tracy88 - I know exactly how you feel when your b___bs lose their soreness and it starts to make you panic. That happened to me a few days ago - they weren't sore for a whole day and a half and as I'd also had some cramping too I went to the doctor to get checked out (mainly for the cramping of course). She said all was well but I still asked her about the b___b thing and she said that despite what we all believe, some women don't get sore b___bs and it may just be that we're lucky enough to have "days off" from the pain. The same has happened to me several times during this pregnancy and all is well. Try not to worry - it seems to be OK. Glad you're both well otherwise. Speak to you soon.

lovemy3 - September 23

Hey everybody's over here!- lol , lol. Congrats Tracy88, I remember your posts from the other board, I'll know in a few days if l will have a May baby. It would actually be a June 3rd but minus the 2 weeks for planned section lands me in May. Anyhow, we'll wait and see!! just wanted to say congrats!! these ladies on this thread are awesome!! XOXO

Tracy88 - September 24

Val, wow you have become the absent-minded professor! You asked if I've told my sister......yep. I am the type of person that believes in telling those closest to you, because even if something goes wrong, you won't have to go through it alone and they are your support system. Even all the people at work know because they knew every bit of what I was going through to get PG, so how could they not know when I actually got PG? We are all very close at work, so I tend to be an open book with my friends. Hopeful, thanks for the info on the b___b issue. It made me feel better, really! The funny thing is that yesterday they were on fire!!!! I really just need to put my faith in nature and believe that it will take it's course, AND stop expecting the worst. I'm scared, as I'm sure most women are after they've been TTC for so long. Well, I am going to go back and lay down. I feel awful. I did not sleep at all last night and have minor nausea slip in and out constantly. Overall I feel like I have the flu, but I know it's pregnancy.

Tracy88 - September 24

Oh, and Lovemy3, thank you so much for your congrats! I am very happy about this pregnancy and looking so forward to seeing these little angels faces.
