howdy all! TRACY, sorry you are not feeling well. I know what you mean about being scared... every little stomach pain gets me worried, although I know it's natural as the uterus starts to stretch. I'm going to have a hard time not telling people - I'm usually an open book also. HOPEFUL, thanks for sharing about the b___b thing - it's been coming and going for me, so I worry about that as well. It's funny - I picked up more prometrium at the pharmacy today and one of the side effects listed is "worry". I wish I was having the hcg levels tested still - I have to wait until Friday to find out more about how everything is going. My temps are still up, so that's comforting at least. Ok, enough of my "worry" post - I'm going to go make applesauce!

Val do you make everything you eat from scratch? Are you the west coast's Martha Stewart? I worry a lot, and right now I think it's because if I do feel a pain or a twinge I attribute it to the ovary thing I have going on because it's so predominant right now. I don't know what is related to the pregnancy itself besides the nausea or queaziness. At least I have a little of that to hold on to. That applesauce actually sounds really good right now.

Yeah - Val can I have some applesauce too? Sounds fantastic! Glad all is well with everyone and that you (like me) are trying to keep the worries at bay. Tracy88 - I know what you mean about feeling flu-like at the moment. I'm the same. I wish it didn't feel so humid out as that just makes me feel even more tired. Having an off-b___b day but am too tired to worry about it. I just can't seem to sleep at the moment. I realise now that I don't think I've ever really suffered from insomnia but I think I may have a touch of it now. I don't have any trouble falling asleep at the start of the night but then as soon as I wake up to pee for the first time (usually about 3 hours after I fell asleep) that's it for the night and all I seem to do is drift for a couple of hours until my next pee! Each time I get up I'm more exhausted than the last time and can't wait to get back to bed. Also my stomach seems to feel so raw at night but I can't think about food to settle it. I think I'll have to rename my morning sickness "midnight sickness" as that seems to be when I'm at most discomfort. Having said that, it's now 2.30pm and I'm starving so I better go eat. By the way- for those of you who know Col - she's got some news on the TTC-ers Part 4 thread which I'm sure you'd like to read. TTYL!

HOPEFUL, sorry about the insomnia... that's no fun. Would it help if you got up and ate something in the middle of the night? I find that these days after I eat, I get really sleepy. TRACY, I don't know about being Martha, but I do cook most of what we eat, mostly because I know too much about food and agriculture and I read too many food labels! Making whole foods makes me feel better about it because I know there isn't corn syrup or GM (genetically modified) foods or anything in what we are eating. Plus I really like to cook! The applesauce turned out great (according to dh!) I need to make a second batch because we still have a bunch of apples left (they are from one of our trees). Took another pg test this morning and got a really quick dark positive. I know I'm just being paranoid. I'm going to start really trying to think positive thoughts and telling the little bean that she/he has to stick around!

Real true nausea is setting in today. I feel so sick. I haven't puked yet, but know it's just a matter of time. I have the insomnia problem too. I feel exactly the way you described it Hopeful. Val, I am right there with you on the food issue. I am so NOT gifted in the kitchen, but I make sure that whatever I bring in to this house has no preservatives or GMO's, is all organic, etc...

Hello all - particularly, Tammy and Future Mommy of 2 and COL! Congratulations to you all!!! We've certainly got a full board here! GREAT STUFF! News from me? - not much to report really so I'm just checking in. Insomnia still causing me a problem but b___bs and nausea seem to be staying away which is good. Last night I tried to eat something (actually more like early this morning - 5ish) - cornflakes and a small gla__s of orange juice. I think it helped as I seemed to fall asleep again pretty quickly. However, I was awake again an hour and a half later so it wasn't a total success. Still - I'll try it again as it definitely got rid of the tummy discomfort for a while which helped me relax. (Thanks Val for that idea!) Tracy88 - I hope you're finding some solutions to your insomnia too. Have you tried the midnight feast trick? Hope it works for you - let me know if you come up with any other solutions. TTYL!

Good morning ladies, hopeful, I am sorry for your sleeping difficulties, I think I have a traditional recipe for you, try it if you can and let me know. Warm Gla__s of milk, mixed with table spoon of honey and tea spoon of b___ter, drink it before going to bed. Or use camomile tea, not the bagged ones, try to go to a bulk store and buy the fresh ones. Good luck. Val, how are you doing? Tracy, I just noticed that you have a twin, that’s great, hope you are not having hard time. As for me, the whole pregnancy news did not sink in yet, I am not sure if I have any kind of different feelings to report. My family is happy , each one I told burst into tears, my SIL , she is so close to me, started to shake and cry hysterically, so as you can see, I had others feeling what I am suppose to feel : ) : ). Oh I forgot to say, that I get some cramps, not continuous, but frequent, anybody has that? And is it related to the pregnancy?

Hey Col - thanks for the recipe. It sounds really yummy and I'll try it tonight and let you know. (I do like camomile and drink it quite often but how can I possibly pa__s up the chance to drink milk with b___ter in it!!!!!! LOL!!!!! What a TREAT!) Great to hear your family reactions. Can't wait til I make the news public - only 4.5 weeks to go (seems like an AGE but I'll wait it out!!) Re. your cramps. I'm not really having cramps - more like "twisty feelings" when I move awkwardly or too fast. However, in the first few weeks (up until about week 8 I think) I did have occasional cramping which my doctors said is absolutely nothing to worry about because it's the stretching of the uterus. If it gets really bad or, of course, if you have any bleeding, then I would contact your doctor. Til then - take it as a sign of a healthy pregnancy!! How is everyone else doing today? Speak to you all soon!
