Does anyone know if decaf coffee is ok to have while pregnant?

Yes, decaf is ok. They say 1 cup of regular coffee is ok, but I'm afraid to take a chance. I have 1 cup of tea in the morning which has less caffeine than coffee. I have migraines, so if I completely go off caffeine, the pain is awful. Congrats on your preg!

Yes, it is fine. I agree with Clindholm about the 1 cup of regular a day. I drink 1 Diet Dr Pepper in the morning. I am 30 weeks now and no problems with the baby. Congrats and have a happy and healthy rest of your pregnancy...

De-caf coffee is ok. However.. There is no added benefit for babies nutrition nor for you. Just remember everything you injest is past onto the baby in some form. Frances~I don't think it is such a good idea to have diet drinks either..the aspartame is definitely not good for a developing baby. nor is it good for you.. you are better off having the regular dr.pepper if you still need the caffeine boost.. but as we all know the caffeine is not good either..as it has links to miscarriage...but the fact that you are already past 30 weeks you are not likely to have a miscarriage now. and of course.. It depends on the risks you are willing to take..for me with a a couple of miscarriages under my belt as well as an ectopic..I would not have any caffeine for the 10 months of pregnancy..that way I don't have to look back on it later if something went wrong and think I should have done or not done that. All the best!!
