I started having children at 30 and have 4 kids. I had pretty good pregnancies and smooth deliveries-all va___al with epidurals which were great! We think we want to have one more....am I pushing it? I'll be 40 next month-am I too old?

I'm 40 and 26 weeks pregnant today. You clearly have no trouble conceiving so there is no reason to think you are too old. Go for it!

My mother-in-law was 41 when she had my husband's brother. I say if you want another one, go for it! I'll be 36 when I deliver my first one in October and I would like to wait 2 years before trying for a second. 40 is not too old at all if you're up for it!

I had my daughter when I was 26 then my son when I was 35. I wanted another one on and off after having him, but when I got to 40, I made myself forget about it as I thought I was too old. I am now 42 and desperate for another one! I decided to go for it after all in March but had a miscarriage in May - so, now I am trying and praying hard. Only you can decide - but I didn't want to get to 50 and regret not going for it. Good luck with whatever you decide.
