I am 40 yrs old i have 3 grown kids and i would like to have twins or one more if possible.The doctors said my tubes are not blocked,i am producing eggs ,but i dont want to put those drugs in my body i want to try herbs also my period is as regular as they come.What advice or comments does anyone have for me.

Hey there. Well I don't have 3 grown kids...but I do have one grown daughter who is 21 and out of the house. My dh's kids are 11 and 14. We decided to go for it ourselves and have one together (we are both 40...only one week apart in age!) and he had a vasectomy reversal last year. It had been ten years since his surgery to get the vasectomy... It worked immediately..I was pregnant, but lost the pg at 8 weeks. Then I quit the job I hated several months later and found myself pregnant again. Now at 34 weeks gestation with a healthy bby boy. Yes, my pregnancy has been hard. think my body like...fogot for a while! However, I am still not considered high risk according to my OB. I will be delivering by csection this Oct 9. My advice to you? 40 is NOT too old. There are women PLENTY older than we are who are also having successful pregnancies. There is no reason you should require a__sistance if you are producing your own eggs and your partner has viable sperm. Had my husband not had the vasectomy I would have been pregnant probably as soon as we met back in 2002! Good luck. You should have no problems. Most people on these boards will be very supportive too. :)
