I am 37 and 14 weeks pregnant. My second visit showed blood in my urine. Went back 2 wks. later and the blood was still there. Dr. told me to drink lots of water & cranberry juice. She said I have bacterial infection. If it doesn't clear, I will have to go on antibiotics, which I prefer not to take. Does anyone else have or know anyone that has this problem during pregnancy

I had UTI with all three of my pregnancies. I did go on an antibiotic that was safe during pregnancy. Why don't you want to go on an antibiotic to clear it up? UTI are a pain to have during pregnancy.

I had to take antibiotic's for a bad sinus infection and my ob and reg.Doctor said its ok, They said it was better to help the problem than not, stress on my body to get better or infection in my system would be worse. Talk to him, I think I would rather take it than not, if the infection can do harm?????I am not sure though if it will GOod Luck to you
