I am 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant and this today a few times, I had a little brown discharge on my tp. I have no cramps and I just did another pregnancy test and it was positive. what could be happening? This is my second pregnancy. The first one was a miscarriage which I lost about 5 months ago. I am so worried. Is this another miscarriage about to happen?

Kellie, Don't worry this could be old blood. The same thing happened to me when I was in my first trimester... I'm now 23 weeks.

I agree with LM, I spotted brown on and off from my 10th week to my 16th. I aslo had a m/c 10 weeks before finding out that I was pregnant again. I am now 23 weeks too. If you are really concerned call your doctor's office, I'm sure someone is on-call or go to the ER, they could do an u/s and check your HCG level. Best of luck and keep us posted.

I am not a "professional, but I had this same thing happen between 6 weeks and 8 weeks. It's more of a discharge when you wipe than it is spotting. Rather than worry, call your Dr. and ask them. It's better to error on the side of caution. I was told it could be old blood from my doctor. It seemed to stop after a couple weeks. I would worry more if you were spotting/bleeding fresh red blood and had pain or cramps. Good luck

This past week i have been so stressed. i lit my dog to a hit and run, I have bg truck bills coming and so much on my plate its unbearable...last night and this morning i had spoting but just came from the dr offce and he heard the baby's heart rate, he said it will be ok.. just watch or more bleedig, like lots of it, a little is caus for concern. so do go get it checked.you dont need the stress of worry about it. relax put up your feet, be careful.. good luck.......
