Chorioangioma And Lots Of Blood

I was wondering if anyone has been through this...I'm almost 13 weeks and had some serious bleeding this morning...soaked a couple of maxis...when I went to the hospital, they had my ultrasound results from Tuesday waiting, I have a chorioangioma, 2.2 cm on my placenta, and apparently it's bleeding. The fetus is still fine, my nuchal scan was 1.1, so really fine. ..my MD called and said it's a tumour that is usually benign...I'm seeing her tomorrow and have been ordered to rest for a few days. I'm not finding anything promising out there....does anyone have any experiences to share....?

Hi Txcdn....still here.....still spotting brown, but good heartbeat...cervix intact...scared poopless

Good to hear! What did the doctor say? I've asked around here but no one knows much about it. One site I went to said there was a higher incidence of this with women carrying girls! Keep me updated and see you soon!

Hi Jenna..!...too weird finding each other here.........thanks for checking, what's the site you were looking at?
Doc says try not to worry....still a very good chance of carrying to term.....it's hard not to freak though every time you see blood. It's like a knee jerk reaction that I can't really control
