I am 35 and got pregnant on the first try. (I'm in my sixth week and still worried about miscarrying though.) My husband is 31, maybe that helped.

Hate to be a downer, but you asked - I'm 38 and 30 weeks pregnant with our first. But it took us three years to get pregnant. Happened right before or right after my annual girls' trip to Las Vegas - a weeks of relaxation and booze did the trick, I keep saying!

i am 36 and it took us just 3 months to conceive, for our first: if you are healthy, and take care of yourself, age shouldn't matter.....

I heard that a lot of it depends on when the women in your family tend to go through menopause. If they go through menopause early, then it's often an indicator that it'll be hard to get pregnant when you're older. However, if they go through menopause late, you usually have good success getting pregnant later.

I heard that as well ( and that taking the pill for prolonged periods of time aggrevated the entire thing) and was fully convinced that we would have to try for two years or so. I was pregant two months after stopping taking the pill. So do not plan (as I did) for it to take forever.

I am also 37 and trying for a baby. Already have a 2 year old son and can't wait for another! I started trying in Dec last year and had a miscarriage in April. Think I have just had another miscarriage also as I had a two positive tests followed by a negative one. Also finally my period started over a week late which is so unlike me. I am not too worried though as at least I am falling pregnant so keep trying!

It took me a year to get pregnant when I was 33. This year we decided to try in May and I got pregnant in May.
It think I got pregnant early, because I did not get back on the birth control pills and a new the signs of my body when I ovulated. I noticed a lot of CM that morning and I initiated s_x. It worked.

On average women lose about 50% - 70% by 35. That makes it a lot harder. Some women are lucky and get pregnant very easily but for most it can take a year or more of trying at that age.

Hey there, I'm 36 and started trying to get pg 2 years ago. It took 6 months to conceive then lost it at 6 weeks. Then 6 more months to conceive and lost it again at 6 weeks. Found out I have low progesterone. When I test positive again for being pg (been trying for 8 months this time) my doc will give me Prometrium to take. I went ahead myself and started using Maca Root before Ovulation and Progesterone Cream after Ovulation. I have a feeling I am pg now. I hope I am.
