I am due on August 2nd. I tried for 17 years to get pregnant and finally decided to adopt. I have a 6 month old daughter and have now found out that I am 10 weeks pregnant.

I am due in August....but my birthday is July 4th............ and I am a twin. It is a great day for a birthday. CONGRATS!!!

Thanks ladies, Rene' I am also a twin and my name is Renee. My twin is not able to get preg. with her second either. Happy Me, congrats to you. And LSb, you keep hanging in there, because mine is truley a miracle, they told me at the infertility clinic, I was not going to have any more I had about 8-9 IUI's and one time had 10 eggs, nothing. Went to IVF clinic and they turned me away and said I failed the CLomid Challenge test Miserably. and OMG here I am 14weeks starting today, Its all in Gods hands , I beat all of the scientic odds and God really let me know who's in control., so please hang in there I know its hard I went through all those years of crying , not understanding, pain , depression , you name it. So thanks again ladies

Hi miraclebaby, congratulations!! I just responded to adopted now pregnant and then read your response. My baby girl was due 4th July last year but she came on the 5th, and I am due again on 1st July. I will be 40 when this baby is born but i only feel about 23, so that's okay. How are you feeling? I well remember the feeling of wonder at finally being pregnant, especially after getting over the 'danger period' as we both are now! Yippeee for us!!

Kathy, I feel really good, in fact I woke up today and do not feel pregnant. I feel much relief now, just anxious, but a long way to go, I am starting week fourteen . I wish I had a sonogram machine at home lol, lol

Miraclebaby, glad you're feeling well. For the past week or more I didn't feel preg at all either. Now my b___bs are starting to hurt and I can see that they're getting bigger, and I am definately bigger in the tummy this time - I guess because everything was stretched last time. It's nice not to feel so sick anymore - this is a great stage of pregnancy. Also, I'm eating a lot more during about the past week. I'm 14.5 weeks now, looking forward to my next appt on 16th.

TO Kathy and miraclebaby, I am due 7/7 and you two have made me feel so much better. I have been so worried because I am no longer nauseous, just tired. I actually thought to myself, "what if I'm not really pregnant?" I guess I should count my blessings for feeling so good after weeks of feeling lousy. But I'll feel better when I hear the heartbeat (again) next week. You may have guessed, it's my first, and I'm 38. Two miscarriages in my past make me extra worried...

Georgia and Kathy, I was the same way worried , I go crazy everyday saying I dont feel pregnant, do either of you have the line yet, I am just starting 14 and I do not see the line and I am looking in the mirror everyday and nothing, so I worry about , I am proably going to make myself crazy by July, Its just I want this baby soooooooo bad. Just like I am sure the two of you do as well. Any time your questioning just write, I do and then I feel better, Because I am driving my husband crazy. Everyday I ask him do I look bigger today or are my nipples darker, he said I am making him nuts lol, lol, I stand in front of the mirror checking out everything. Its just so exciting and I dont want to miss a beat ya know. My next Appt. Is Jan 19. OH, and I am much bigger this time too, even though its been 14 yrs, I am not as skinny as I was at 23, I am 37 with meat on me and a stretch mark stomach. But who cares, I have a baby. YEAH Talk to you and let me know how your appts. go.Georgia, did you go on Progesterone supplements because of the previous m/c? I was on them for three weeks as mine was borerline, and he took me off at the start of 13 weeks and said no more. And we heard the heart beat via doppler, I am thinking of renting one??? I am not sure , My sister-in-law states that if you cant find the heart beat then Ill be a wreck , so I dont know. lol, lol

No progesterone supplements for me. There was no issue with my progesterone. My dr said the miscarriages were just "bad luck." That was hard to accept, but so far so good with this one. My poor husband has been trying to calm me down. I question whether things are progressing normally and he reminds me my belly is getting bigger (it is a little bigger). But no, I have no line yet. I thought about renting a doppler too, but I do think I'd make myself crazy with it. We'll see...let's keep in touch!

Hi ladies, I'm in Australia and I don't even think we can rent dopplers here, so that's not an option for us. I'm not so worried this time though, because I remember this stage last preg, so glad to be past the morning sickness and feeling human again. I don't have that line, but don't stress, I didn't get it last time either. Anyone else hungry all the time? The only other advice I have is to keep yourself as busy as possible - I'm potty training my daughter at the moment, lots of wees to contend with, and my little boy is 'helping'. They are walking around the house at the moment holding hands. I tell them it makes my heart sing when they are so sweet to each other. I'll stop rambling now.... try to relax and enjoy.

miraclebaby, Congratulations! I'm due June 13th and have just started getting really excited in the last couple of weeks (had a bad preg 2 years ago). I'm 36 yo & have been driving my husband insane with all of the talking about: Do you think we are really going to have a baby? Do you think I'm gaining enough weight? etc etc. I want to be a mom so bad that it's hard to believe it might actually happpen this time.

Toni, Congrats to you, I have to say I feel great knowing everyone feels as I do. I joined this forum, because I dont think my husband can take me anymore. lol He always says I don't know ask the doctor. Anyways conrats to you yeah!!!

Kathy, you can buy or rent Dopplers in australia, just log into Ebay australia, their are several people in Sydney selling them for around $120 AU Cheers

HEY MIRACLE BABY, I am due on July 4th, 2006. How fun huh? Things have been going well so far. Hope they are for you! Wow, you've waited 12-13 years, how EXCITING!!! I"m in Minnesota, where do you live?

Also due on July 4th! It seems sooo far away at this point, doesn't it? I also had a miscarriage in June. I too am renting the doppler--just had to know that this baby was still there. I agree with those that said it's sometimes hard to fully grasp the concept that I'm probably going to have this baby! (Sounds weird even as I type this). Belly starting to grow and I haven't told my boss yet at work. Probably need to do that sometime this week (wanted to wait until after bonus decisions were made). Good luck to all of you!
