Also due on July 4th! It seems sooo far away at this point, doesn't it? I also had a miscarriage in June. I too am renting the doppler--just had to know that this baby was still there. I agree with those that said it's sometimes hard to fully grasp the concept that I'm probably going to have this baby! (Sounds weird even as I type this). Belly starting to grow and I haven't told my boss yet at work. Probably need to do that sometime this week (wanted to wait until after bonus decisions were made). Good luck to all of you!

hi everyone, I line in Arkansas, and everyday making myself crazy. Trying not to think about it. I am getting a big stomach though it seems everthing really ,moved up (stomach) people are double looking me in walmart so I think they are trying to decide Fat or Preg. Becasuse really I look fat. because its not solid and hard yet. I had blubber on my stomach when I got preg. lol lol I am so happy to have this forum I really enjoy it. Hi Miraclebaby, my next appointment is January 16th, I'm hoping we listen to heartbeat with doppler, haven't gotten to do that yet. BUT, I've had 4 ultrasounds already, so I can't complain. Then 20 weeks for me is a Level II ultrasound....I've 38 years old, so they will check for Down's Syndrome etc.

Thanks for the doppler info... have also been told they are now available in the dept stores here now, but I think if I got one I would become addicted! I am getting really big this time, I'm 15 weeks now , and people can definately tell. I'm a bit of a jelly belly though, and am waiting for it to all firm up. Also b___bs have had a growth spurt in the last week or so. Hope you are all well

Kathy I am also 15 weeks and people can tell me too I see them double look or star and have jelly belly too, and cant wait till it gets tight, people think I am fat lol lol

Hi all! After reading about being able to rent a doppler, I have considered it, but thought that I would probably sit around all day listening to it! My next appt is on Jan 13th...I can't wait to hear the heartbeat again just to make sure my little one is still there. I was surprised how early I started to show too. I told my family in KY (I live in WY) that I was starting to get a little poochy a month ago. When I sent them a pic on Jan 1st, they told me I was in denial and definately looked like I was a prego! lol It's strange getting used to my body changing so much since I'm used to the one I've had for 36 years.

Hi ladies, where are you all? I had my ob appointment on Monday, all went well, very straightforward. She did a scan and we all got to see the bub, and that beautiful little heartbeat. I also got a referral for the second trimester scan in two weeks. I'm really looking forward to that one, you can see so much on it. I am pleased to say that I have stopped growing as quickly as I was, it must have just been a growth spurt - I was starting to worry that I would be huge soon. My appet_te has also settled down, although I'm still eating well. Julie, Tracy, how did your appointments go, and Miraclebaby and Toni - how are you? Welcome also Mandy, and congratulations. How old are you? Stay well everyone.

Kathy, glad to hear all is going well with you. It's funny that you seem to be concerned about gaining too much weight when I have the opposite prob of worrying about not gaining enough! I had my regular dr appt last week. All went well with heartbeat being 156! Dr had to chase the little one around a little to get it, but was rea__suring to know that she was moving around so much (even though I couldn't always feel it). I go for 20 week u/s next Friday. I can't wait to see my little one again and make sure she is growing like she's suppose to.

hi everyone I am doing great went for an appt. on Thurs. Heard heat beat 149-150 via doppler 2/1/2 weeks my Ultrasound will be done , the one that checks for downs , etc.....Doc. said everything looks great, I seem to be getting big fast , but funny thing my last 2 appts. I gained 2lbs first one and lost a lb second one. I am eating too, strange, I am drinking alot though Take care and good luck let me know how you guys do

Toni and Miraclebaby, nice to hear you're doing well too. Toni, I'm not worried about gaining too much, I've only just got back to my start weight - it's my stomach I was concerned about. It's grown so quickly this time which I know is normal, but a bit off putting when it's actually happening! So different from last time. I gained about 20 kg last time (45lb) but it dropped off really quickly with b___stfeeding so I try not to worry too much - so long as we get healthy bubs I can live with a few kilos. Good luck with the scans and let us know how you are.

Hi Miraclebaby, I haven't been on this site for a week or so, coicidence that you asked about me yesterday, thanks!!! Things are going fine for me. I had the flu on Sunday, Monday and tuesday. MISERABLE!! Called my Doc to see what I could take, he seemed irritated with me. Insult to injury. Why do they treat us like we're dumb sometimes, that bugs the c___p out of me. Anyway, I believe pregnancy is going well, had ultrasound at 16 weeks (didn't need it, but husband was along and doc got a new machine, so I think he wanted an excuse to use it but said to my husband "I'll bet you'd like to see everything huh?"). Everything was great then. Of course I'm a little worried that the cough medicine I've taken will do some harm. I go for my 20 week on February 13th, then Doc is scheduling the level II u/s. That should be fun! How are you all doing???

julie, thats great to hear , I am doing good, I had AFP and Tiple screen blood test all come back negative YEAH and my Ultrasound II will be on Feb 9, Cant wait ...Have you felt anything yet. I think once I did but not sure because I have not felt a thing after. I am glad to hear everything is ok. Did you find out the s_x when they did the sixteen week and out of couriosity what is the heart rate??? Take care
