Congratulations on your little girl. I was so thrilled last time - we were hoping so much for a girl but I think we didn't want to believe it could actually happen, I was just overwhelmed when she was born and I could see that she was a girl! I was too scared to say 'it's a girl' in case someone told me 'no, it's a boy'. We are hoping for another little girl this time, so lets see how lucky we can be. Our eldest is a boy, he's 3.5 and we adopted him from Korea. If we have another girl this time it takes away (to a certain extent) the risk of comparison that people inevitable make between adopted and bio children. I mean, he's our special boy and they wont be comparing his looks to a bio son. Having said all that, if it's a boy it will be just wonderful too and we will overcome those comments as we go! Good luck, buy plenty of pink ;-)

Hi Miraclebaby, funny, you have good intuition! I am the Julie who's post you responded to about the Level II ultrasound :O) You're good!!!! All is well with me. If the ultrasound goes well tomorrow, my husband and I agreed we will start buying furniture and diapers and toenail clippers and all the stuff we need!! :o) How about for you??

Hi all. I had my Level II ultrasound this morning and am happy to report that everything was normal. Doctor said he was as rea__sured as you possibly could be that everything was perfectly healthy. Wow, is that a relief........

Hi Ladies, hope you're all well. Good one Julie, nice to see it all going on in there isn't it? Miraclebaby, good luck for your appt, my next one is Monday. My due date is 1st July. Is everyone feeling lots of movement now? I love it, at this stage it's a bond just between baby and me because no one else can see or feel it yet - it's almost like our special little secret. I really like this stage of pregnancy. Take care.

Miraclebaby: My due date is June 13th....I've still got a whole trimester left and I'm already having to buy new materity pants (my current ones are getting too tight)! I can't believe my belly is getting so big and I've only gained 8 lbs! My hubby & I finally agreed on the name Madeline Grace. whew...glad we could finally come to a decision...I actually broke down in tears one day because I didn't think we would be able to give her a nice name we could both agree on. It seems pretty silly, but I can now laugh at myself for getting so upset...I'll just write it off to hormones. lol .Kathy: I'm feeling lots of movement and my hubby has even got to feel the little one moving several times. I love it when she moves around, but am having a hard time with her waking me up between 3-3:30am every morning. She's definately get getting some strength in her kicks and punches! Glad to hear all is going well with everyone...

everyone, this is so great to hear that everyone is doing well, yesterday I felt a really strong kick and smiled from ear to ear, my appt today was good just heard the heartbeat checked unrine and left lol, lol I am so happy I can't stand it I just started buying things for my little girl. I gained 11lbs so far this pregnancy. Toni 8lbs wow , I am two weeks behind you . How did you do that?? Thats great. take care everyone and Julie glad the ultra sound went well. Take care all

miraclebaby: you sound about as excited as I am...I sometimes find myself gigling when my little girl kicks me. I can't wait to meet her! As for my weight, I have had a hard time gaining much during the pregnancy, but the dr. has told me not to worry about it...she said I'll probably make up for it in the third trimester. I have another u/s this Friday to check my little one's size to make sure she is growing properly. The u/s is just a precaution because ot the small prob w/the placenta, but I'm pretty sure she is growing because she is starting to kick me in the side above the belly b___ton now (before she was kicking down lower). I've never been very good a shopping, so I'm holding off until after my baby shower next weekend before I get any clothes, etc. for the little one. It's much easier to go with my sisters who love to shop and already have been through this!

Hi all... I had another u/s on Friday. My little one is right on target with her size. According to the u/s she weighs about 1.7 lbs (+or- .3 lbs)! miraclebaby: I'm glad to hear you are having such a good time with the baby shopping. I haven't really bought anything yet, although baby shower gifts have already started arriving at my door. It's still a little strange for me to actually think that I will have a baby in a few months! It seems too good to be true. Lots of people have told me that it might not hit me until I get to hold her. lol

Just checking in on all of you how is everyone doing. I have an appt. tomorrow for gluclose testing Let me know how you are. I feel the baby move everday now and when she doesn't I do crazy and say "come on Victoria" please move I need to know your ok lol lol lol lol I am getting so excited One and 1/2 weeks to go and I startr my third trimester. I wonder if this will go fast or slow .?? Second went fast. First was slow to me. When you look at it in perspective 3 months is nothing since we just did 6 lol lol . Talk to you have a nice day.

miraclebaby: I took the one hour glucose test at the beginning of the month which turned out to be a little on the high side (150), so I had to take the 3 hour test when I got back from my baby shower last week. Luckily, second test came back perfectly normal - that orange drink is horrible!! I'm hoping that this last trimester goes by fast. I got overloaded with baby items at my shower (had about 30 people or so show up), but don't think it's really going to hit me that I'm going to be a mom until I see my daughter. I know she's in there because I feel her moving around, but am having a difficult time imagining the fact that I'm going to have to get her out of there in the next few months and actually have a real, live baby to look after. Sounds weird, huh? By-the-way...I like the name Victoria...is that the one you've decided on?
