miraclebaby: I took the one hour glucose test at the beginning of the month which turned out to be a little on the high side (150), so I had to take the 3 hour test when I got back from my baby shower last week. Luckily, second test came back perfectly normal - that orange drink is horrible!! I'm hoping that this last trimester goes by fast. I got overloaded with baby items at my shower (had about 30 people or so show up), but don't think it's really going to hit me that I'm going to be a mom until I see my daughter. I know she's in there because I feel her moving around, but am having a difficult time imagining the fact that I'm going to have to get her out of there in the next few months and actually have a real, live baby to look after. Sounds weird, huh? By-the-way...I like the name Victoria...is that the one you've decided on?

Toni, glad to hear all is well, I don't think your crazy, I say the same thing to myself and I stare in her room and can't believe I will have a baby. Glad your second test turned out well. Glad your shower went well, I have two one this weekend and one the next weekend . I am soooo excited. Somedays days the baby moves more than others, do you find that happens with you. It drives me crazy when I don't feel her. Like if its a long period of time. How are you doing on the weight.??? ok take care

I made a typo in my thing, I did not mean to type " do crazy" , I meant to type I go crazy.

Miraclebaby: Hope you didn't buy too much before your showers...I got so much stuff, we won't be buying much for our little gril for at least the first two years! I, too, have had the same experience...I won't feel the little one moving around much, I'll get worriied that something is wrong, then, when I lay down at night, she makes up for it. As a matter of fact, it happened just yesterday. She hardly moved at all during the day (that I could feel), but started bumping around at about 2:30 or 3:00 this morning. I figure that she probably is moving around when I'm asleep at night and calms down during the day when I'm moving about or am immersed in my work on the computer. The good news is all of the books I've read have said this is normal. I've also read/heard that the movements can change in the third trimester than what you've grown accustomed to in the second trimester. In any event, I plan to ask the doc next Friday what I need to be expecting from here on out as far as movement goes...I 'll let you know what she says.

Oh, my weight....I've put on a whopping 13 lbs at this point. My husband thinks it's funny that I keep wishing for an extra lb or 2 before I step on the scale! I'm still not gaining much, but am not as worried about it now since my belly b___ton is starting to disappear! lol Kathy: we haven't heard from you in a while...how's everything going?

kathy - March 24

Hi ladies, great to hear you're going so well. I had a pretty c___ppy week, started to feel sick in the evenings again. What's this about at 25 weeks??? Then I got these awful pains, not baby pains but I thing probably stretching pains high up. Anyhow, they've gone now so I'm feeling good. I've put on lots of weight, over 17 lb, and my belly b___ton is way out there, looking really ugly actually. But who cares, hey. I'm so glad you both mentioned about the baby's movements being intermittent. I was quietly worried about this, lots of movements and sharp jabs a couple of weeks ago, and now not so much movement and just gentle little taps. I don't remember all this sort of thing from when I had my daughter so I was a bit concerned. I'm so glad now when I feel anything at all, it rea__sures me. I don't have another appointment for two weeks, and just before that I have to have the glucose test. I guess our appointments will get more frequent soon, mine have only been every six weeks up until now. I still have to pinch myself when I think about this pregnancy - and I get all teary sometimes still when I think about how luck we are, I just love it.......

Toni1 - March 27

Kathy: I know what you mean about the stretching pains! I've been getting them down below my belly ever once in a while. I'm glad to know you are feeling better after feeling like c___p for a week. I've had a kind of c___ppy weekend. I've been having trouble sleeping for a while. It's starting to get to the point that I have to sleep in the recliner in the living room to be comfortable at all. When I sleep in the bed, my hips hurt something horrible. The doc says its my joints loosening up....I guess whatever it takes to get our little ones here, huh? lol Take care, keep us up to date.

Hi all...had another appointment & u/s on Friday. All checks out normal. According to u/s, our little one is about 3lbs. now! I'm getting a little anxious at times, especially after one of my pregnant cousins gave birth yesterday (she was due Apr 26)! Luckily, she & her daughter are doing well - although the baby was a bit on the small side weighting in at only 3lbs 14ozs and being 17ins long.

Hi guys, just wondering how you are doing? Anything new and exciting?? Let me know , Hot where I live today like 85, I am so hot. lol, lol

Happy Me - April 12

Yes, the warmer weather is on its way... one of the concerns with being pregnant in the summer. Today is in the 70s here. Otherwise, I am doing great and things seem to be moving right along. The only thing that seems to be bothering me is the timing of my baby's kicks! She seems to know when to get me... for example, when I am in a meeting and trying to pay attention... or at night when I am trying to sleep... Hope all is well with the other July Mommies to be! (I am due the last week of July -- which moved up from August 2nd.)

fairfax - April 13

Hello Miraclebaby, I am also due the first part of July (probably the second week they say) I was 39 when I found out I was expecting (now 40) and there is an 11 yr 'gap' between this baby and my youngest. This was quite a surprise and blessing all in one you might say! : )

Hi all...glad to hear all is going well with everyone. I think we'll probably start getting to the stage now where we start talking about how unbelievable hot it is and start wondering if we're ever going to give birth! lol I've started feeling the heat and it's not even that hot here yet (highest so far was about 72). I'm still huffing & puffing around trying to keep somewhat active, but it's getting harder. My little one has been moving my whole stomach area to one side...what a weird sight! It amazes me to watch her moving around when I'm sitting with my hubby at night.

Happy Me - April 13

My baby is always kicking / moving lower -- near my pelvis -- but sometimes near my belly b___ton... Havent visually seen her yet, but my hubby can feel her...

miraclebaby - April 13

I saw her move for the first time last night, it was just kicking before, I actually saw my stomach move for the first time . It was great , ok take care all.

Julie - April 17

Hi Miracle baby, I haven't been on in awhile. All is going well here too. We're pretty sure. I haven't gained any weight. I'm actually 7 pounds lighter than when I got pg, so Dr. is going to do an ultrasound at 30 weeks just to make sure all is well. I still vomit sometimes at night and am often nauseaus after i eat. My belly seems to be growing fast and I feel all kinds of kicking and moving around. So I think all is well, but will be glda to hear him say it on April 25th. Glad you're doing well!!!!!! Not much longer for us........
