Flying is safe during pregnancy as long as you have no complications and let your doctor know. I have traveled overseas with no problems at all. Actually they say that the second trimester is the best since that is the time when most morning sickness has pa__sed and still not so huge as to be uncomfortable on a flight. Most airlines won't let you fly pa__s 36 weeks. Get an aisle seat so that you can use the bathroom when ever you want and get up and walk around when you want.

Flying is safe and most airlines will let you fly up to your 9th month. The aircraft is pressurized so you don't have to worry about the alt_tude. However, if your destination is above 8000 ft, you might want to discuss your travel plans with your doc beforehand. Also, I would recommend taking early morning flights after you've had a good night's rest.

Hi Anna, I'll be taking some 5 hour flights in my 25th and 26th weeks. When I asked my Dr. about it she said it was perfect. If you go on a long flight, I've been told to get up walk around to keep the blood circulating and to change positions or use some a footrest if possible.
