I heard the heartbeat through the doppler at 13 weeks. My doctor said it can vary with women.

I heard mine after much searching in my Gp's office at 9 weeks. She attempted this and told me it might be hard..but I had had some spotting at that time and was looking for re-a__surance. When I told my OB he said he does not even attempt using a doppler until 12 weeks. I rented my own doppler received it in 24hours and have no trouble finding the heartbeat daily..it is just above the pelvic bone to the right..for some it may be on the left..that is hwere mine was in my last pregnancy. I am currently 13 weeks 2 days. All the best! Kristin
