Hormone Surges But Not Hot Flashes

Is it common to feel some hormone "surges" and not necessarily hot flashes in early pregnancy? I don't feel hot or sweat, more like PMS. I had a m/c last month and we are trying again (I am 37) and we got pregnant the second month of trying with the first pregnancy. I am not having the br___t tenderness like I did the first time but feel some other things (twinges in the lower abdomen etc). Laurie

Hi Laurie, I'm certainly no expert but it seems that I have read that with your body in baby-making mode, your metabolism is in overdrive and hence we tend to run hotter than normal. I know I certainly experience what you call hot flashes and my fiance teases me because sometimes I'm my own "furnace" at night!
