hi looking for some reassurance,
im 42 and girlfreind is 24 we have been trying for a baby for couple of months now and no look, does anyone know if mens fertility goes with age as my girlfriend has had blood tests done and she is fertile and affraid its me...anyone ?

Not that I know of. In fact, it is well known that men can make babies well into their 60's-70's. I think you guys just need to relax and let it happen. Have a gla__s of wine here and there and forget about baby making, just make love and enjoy it. It will happen, you just watch.

hi gd, sandra m is right. men have it a bit lucky there still able to have children even when they are older [as opposed to when women have menopause]

starts to decline just like a women who is 35 plus. My Dh is 57 and has four children from a previous marriage but things are not the same for his sperm count anymore. Not to say that's your problem but it's worth having some test, just to be sure.

I would get a sperm count to see were you stand on that.

Her blood tests don't necessarily indicate that there isn't a structural problem. Has she had a hysterosalpingogram where they make sure that the tubes aren't blocked....any history of chlamidia on her part?
My husband is 59 and got me pregnant. He is 15 years older than me.
