Good Morning all. Karen, I've never heard of sucha thing with the 3-D ultrasound, it definitely was not around with my other 3 births! You were lucky if you got a tiny printout that now looks like a bunch of dots on a black background! Technology. I wonder if they have those in the US anywhere? More later...seems I'm always running on the weekends, and I don't even have any kids this weekend. More later..

Hi BM5 - I am certain they have it in the States. It is probably more popular there than here as we usually are a little behind you guys with our technology. There are only 2 places in our province where it can be found and not all provinces out here have them. I think most major US cities will have them. You can probably google it. I have a regular ultrasound scheduled this Thursday so I'm looking forward to that too. I haven't even told my parents or friends yet but have decided if all is well with the ultrasound then this weekend we'll spread the good news. At our age I hope it is taken well by all. Most people I'm sure will think we'll nuts at first. I sometimes think we are too! I don't have my kids either this weekend. Every othere weekend my DH and I have a few days to ourselves. My son goes to his dad's. It's nice. That will change soon enough lol!

Hello all - again I'm sorry for not writing for a few days. The cold got the better of me again and I ended up having diarrhoea and being really nauseous on Saturday and most of the day yesterday. Feeling much better again today though - went to my regular doctor to explain about the sickness and she recommended a checkup with my OB/Gyn so I got to see my bean again today which was a bonus. All is well but I need to rest more than I'm doing (typical of us women isn't it!!) Anyway, lovemy3 - sounds like you're back on track for ttc-ing this month. As always I'm wishing you lots of luck and Baby Dust!!!!!! KarenE - It sounds to me like the scan I'm having in my 21st week (which lovemy3 described as a Level 2) is very similar to your 3D package but it's done to check all the organs and physical development of the bean. The clinic I go to includes a 3D picture with that scan but no CD or anything. Before you spend the money (which does sound like it's well worth it by the way!!) just check with your Ob/Gyn that you won't end up paying for something which is rather too similar to a routine check. However, the website you quoted looks fantastic and I see exactly what you mean about the high quality of the pics. Amazing!! Anyway, all - must go now. I've a few things to do before I put my feet up for the afternoon (at least!!). Big Hugs to you all! TTYL!

Good evening all, Feeling major ovulation cramps, would swear I'm ovulating but this crazy opk doesn't even have a faint test line, never mind a positive. These are the cheap online tests and I've never used them before. Gosh, I am SO sick of this. Sorry to be such a complainer but this is month 7 and is really getting on my nerves...pls let it be this month! Hope you are well. Where is everybody? Miss you guys...

Hi LM3: Sounds like you are having some frustration over O'ing. I am sure as every month goes by it must get more and more frustrating. It is a quiet thread today. We have had rain straight now for 5 days, and last night some places got almost a foot of water. There are floods everywhere in BC. Lukily not where we are. Hopeful, glad you are feeling better. I wish they had the 3D ultrasounds here in BC but unfortunately all we have here are the old ultrasounds where you can barely make out the head from the feet. Any testing is usually done through blood work or amnio here. Good luck tonight LM3 - it might be your night!!

Hi Ladies, I would love to join your group. A week and a half to go before I get my amnio results, the waiting is horrible! This is my third amnio you would think it would get easier.. I guess hormones play a big factor. Hope everyone is feeling great!

Welcome...waiting is the hardest part isn't it. 1.5 weeks to go. How long have you been waiting so far? Was the a reason for your amnio or just routine? I hope all goes well. Karen....hopefully your rain will stop soon and your sun will shine. KD...how are you? how is the af going this month, longer or shorter than last time? Tracy, Val, BM5, Hopeful, Sann, Col.. How are you all doing. All into the 2nd trimester now. Thats great. Just KD and I to hopefully get started this month in Week 1-lol. Gosh, it just seems like we were back in march all still TTC-ing. Time has flown by! Well, I hope all is well. CD15 for me, still no faint line or anything indicating positive surge, which I find very strange. Last month I got my positive on CD14 and cd15. I have cramps, thats it. No cm at all. Feeling discouraged, worrying I'm not going to ovulate this month and its another month down as nothing. Wobdering if it has to do with these cheap online test strips I ordered? ttyl

LM3, what's your CM like right now? Don't fret about not ovulating at the same time as last month, it naturally varies. I actively tried to conceive for two years with my husband, so I know how frustrating it can be. I'm sorry. I do hope you guys (you and KD) get your chance soon. I had an U/S yesterday for the first part of the NT testing. The baby is measuring ahead by one day and has a healthy heartbeat. I saw it moving around again, which I love! It makes it so real to see it tossing and turning in there. During my scan last week he/she was snoozing. I think I have had more scans than anyone I know. I am so grateful. I am averaging three per month since getting the positive HPT. Yesterday marked the beginning of week 12 for me. I'm not terribly religious, but I thank God every day. Morning sickness is sooooooo much better. I pretty much don't have it anymore. I still watch what I eat later in the day though and make sure that I eat when I am hungry so I don't feel queazy. I bought my first maternity outfit yesterday too. My clothes are too tight around the belly, so I bought a skirt and two tops that I can interchange. How exciting! Well, I am going to have breakfast and then I need to hit the supermarket, so I will check in later!

Goodness me I'm being a terrible poster at the moment. Yet again I've been lax in the writing department. Sorry! I've been really busy trying to catch up on rest and things that haven't got done over the last week. At last I can say that I'm really feeling better and I think I may even get back into swimming tomorrow (if I can fit into the swimming costume of course!!) which I have really been missing over the last few weeks. Anyway, firstly WELCOME Lovedblessings!!! I'm so glad you've joined us from the other thread - we're usually a really chatty bunch (I don't know what's happened over the last few days so don't take that as a good example!!) and everyone is always incredibly supportive. Remind me how far along you are and your due date etc. as I've forgotten in my dopey pregnanciness!! Hope you're coping OK with the wait for the amnio - I'm sure everything will be fine so try not to worry. You'll be so relieved you did it in the end. I think Sann (another lady on this thread) is having hers done tomorrow (MUCH GOOD LUCK TO YOU SANN!!!) and I'm sure would love to have your support as you're a few weeks ahead of her. lovemy3 - I'm sorry to hear about the OPKs being duff! I really think you should try to trust your instincts and throw them away. Let your body tell you when you're O'ing and if you can't "hear" it, b-d anyway just for the fun of it!!!!! Easy for me to say I know, I just worry that you're stressing yourself out and that might block the positive energies. Thinking of you lots and hoping for you and KD this month - we'd all be so happy for you both I know. Tracy - I'm so glad everything is going so well for you and that the m/s is better - Great news!! Did you get the blood tests done at the same time as the NT scan or is that still to come? What are you thinking with regards amnio? I'm so excited that you've bought some maternity wear. I'm in the same boat - nothing fits properly!! - so I've been adding elastic and moving b___tons on anything I can to try and save the pennies. Thankfully my birthday, Christmas and my husband's birthday all come before the bean arrives so that will help us with maternity wear and baby stuff nearer the time. The other day I got a catalogue just to browse through and the prices are frightening - I'm really hoping I can get most of my stuff second hand (although, of course, not mattresses or car seats as I've been told that can be respectively unhygenic and potentially dangerous). Can't wait to actually feel big enough to warrant the maternity clothes though - at the moment I just feel like a lump!! I hope everyone is well and will update soon - I think we need a boost of really great news to get this thread going again! (It's all up to lovemy3 and KD!!! LOL!!) TTYL!

Hi all, I guess I've been hybernating the past few days. Both dh and I played hookey yesterday from work and slept away much of the morning, it was great. Kids all came back Monday after school and it's back to the busy week! My 3 kids go to their dad's every other week, so me and dh have a whole week to ourselves every other week (like Karen--not for long!). LM3-I really hope this month is it for you, I agree with Hopeful-we need some good news. At least have fun with the b-ding. Me and dh are still at 2-3 x day, can't seem to slow it down, although when kids are there, it's usually a standard 2x (morning & night). KD, sorry to hear about AF, hopefully next month is yours :) Karen, good luck with telling everyone, I'm sure it'll go well. I've had mixed reviews, mostly due to age and the fact that dh and I already have 4 kids between us now. But we decided that only we are the ones that have to live with it and be happy about it. It doesn't matter what anyone else says and I've noticed that they usually base their feelings on their own and not yours--so take it all with a grain of salt. I hope everyone else is doing well. Tracy I'm glad to hear you and baby are doing great. My pants are already getting tight and I'm only 7-8 wks. Not too happy about it, it seems my middle is growing way too fast! Other than that and the sore b___sts, I"m feeling pretty good. Still going through some major mood swings though. Feels as bad as PMS, which was bad for me, I'm hoping that goes away after 1st trimester? Seems some days I can't stop crying. Oh well, today's a good day, in which I will be greatful. Better get back to work, after missing yesterday, the stacks are growing higher by the minute! Belly rubs and baby dust to all!!!! Welcome Lovedblessings--do give us more details!! Anyone heard any more from Uvamom?

Hi all... I've been reading but just haven't had a chance to post. Everything seems to be going well (I have to knock on wood everytime I say that!) M/s is still here, but mostly only in the mornings now. As long as I puke first thing, the nausea stays away the rest of the day if I eat every couple of hours. Trying to eat a fair amount of protein. And I have mouthwash with me all the time because I get this really bad taste in my mouth - anyone else have that? Not quite to the 2nd trimester yet... I'm in my 12th week (11w/2d) and looking forward to geting to the 2nd tri! TRACY, glad you are doing well. I think you have had the most u/s! I've had 3, plus heard the hb with the doppler. My NT is scheduled for Nov. 20th. It's starting to all feel a little more real! Btw, I love my skirts with elastic waistbands... that's mostly what I wear these days! Welcome, LOVEDBLESSINGS! How far along are you? Did you do NT also, or only amnio? LM3, if you are worried about missing ovulation (or overdoing it with bd-ing), I'd bd every other day or so. I'm hoping this is your month! And KD's as well! HOPEFUL, you're so good, moving b___tons and stuff on your clothes! I went shopping a few weeks back and got some skirts and a pair of pants. All on sale, so it wasn't too bad. I usually prefer shopping and 2nd hand stores anyway, so I think I'm going to go looking for some more pants this weekend. Some days it's just too cold for skirts! It's funny, I bought 2 new bras when I was pg last time, and just yesterday I noticed that I've totally filled them out. And they are big sizes!!! I'm kind of scared for how big my b___bs might end up! Although dh is loving it. ;-) BABYMAKES5- hybernation sounds nice. KAREN, good luck with telling people. We're lucky - since this is our first, we've only had good responses... everyone is really excited for us. Is it still raining where you are? We had 6 inches on my farm in the last 24 hours... pretty crazy! SANN, COL, Uvamom, hope you are all doing ok. ttyl...
