By the way, read back over the old part 2 board and saw I posted all about EWCM on Oct 12, only 10 days ago, so I guess I can still be hopeful-lol.

Hi LM3 - I definitely think you can still be hopeful. It's not over until af arrives! Hope everyone is having a good weekend. We had an amazing work party and now we have a new barn/shed for our cattle/hay storage! And the dinner party was really fun. I'm taking it easy today since I was on my feet a lot yesterday. M/s has changed from constant nausea to sudden puking... kind of scary (and threatening to my clothes!) but definitely better than feeling sick all day. ttyl...

Sounds like a fun weekend Val. That is also how my m/s slowed before, maybe that is a good sign. Nothing going on here. No af, so thats good. The big day will be CD31 if its not there when I wake up, that would be exciting. Did you test at all and get a negative or positive right away and what day on? Hopeful...good luck in th a.m, thinking of you XOXO

Hi LM3... it's quiet around here! I got my positive 12dpo in the afternoon. It was light but definitely visible. That was the first day I tested. I was trying to hold off until 13 or 14dpo, but that day was our anniversary and I thought it would be great to know if possible by then. Still crossing everything for you. TRACY how's the m/s? I thought the shot was working, but now I'm not so sure. Yesterday evening I was very nauseous and mornng puking has been standard. Also very tired. Today is my first day back at work since last Tuesday, but all I want to do is lay on the couch. I may cancel lessons tomorrow depending on how I feel. I realized that the spotting last week occured on the day I would have gotten af... makes me feel a little better knowing it wasn't totally random. COL, SANN, KD, how are you all? Gotta run (or walk slowly) to try to have a second breakfast... ttyl...

Sorry I have been MIA. I was not feeling well at all yesterday and ended up in the ER at 3am with a full b__wn migraine. Today I just slept off all the drugs I was on. Yes, they knew I am PG. They gave me Benadryl, Phenergan, and Demerol. The demerol worked like a charm. Now I just have the remnants of the headache so I am laying low. Hopeful, how was that U/S??? Worried here......you haven't checked in. Val I am in the same place you are with the puking. It's more random now rather than constant. Today was a good day though but I think it's because they gave me the Phenergan in the ER for nausea. Needless to say, I got my prescription filled so I can have some more good days. I'll check in on you ladies tomorrow. I have to shower and lay back down. I made DH take me to get tangerine sorbet from Coldstone.

Hey Everyone, busy weekend. Lovemy3 I've been thinking about you all day, wondering if AF showed. I was glad to hear no sign yet. I've got my fingers crossed. Hopeful, I hope the NT scan went well. Let's hope "no news is good news." Tracy, I so feel for you. You're having it so tough. And Val, "sudden puking" oh that sounds pleasant, but I'm glad you're viewing it as something better than sick all day. Question to All: I remember during my 1st trimester I was ridiculously h__y. I mean turned on by things that normally wouldn't be that provocative. Are any of you ladies experiencing it & would like to share some stories? Or LM3 during your prgs? It was so funny explaining to BFriend how I was turned on by a disc jockey explaining how he ate some really great strawberries, & even more so I am an artist & was drawing some very cartooning lumberjacks for some bobblehead dolls & I got turned on by drawing their forearms. I hope I'm not the only one cause this would be quite embarrasing!!!!

I have all af symptoms tonight, major crampy, Very moody, sore knees (my telltale weird sign-lol). If its not there in a.m when I awke I'de bet I'm pregnant, its literally just about to start it feels like, BUT so far nothing, and still a BFN today, but I am officially out of tests so there will be no test tomorrow, just my af I bet. Sooooo, stay tuned for tomorrow CD30. Hopeful... kinda worried ...post soon! XOXO

TRACY, sorry about your ER visit. I've (luckily) never had to suffer migraines... that must be hellish on top of the m/s! KD, sadly, I've definite not been h__y much during the last few weeks. Poor dh... he's wondering when he's ever going to get some again! LM3 - I hope there's good news on here when I check in the morning! So, have any of you had experience with Group B Strep, or taking antibiotics during pregnancy? My urine test came back positive and my ob wants me to take penicillin. I hate taking antibiotics, and everything I've read online says that even if you take them, there's a good chance it will come back later, but I'm too scared not to take them (in case the strep causes problems with the pregnancy.) Any thoughts?

Hi all ...Hope everyone doing really well : ) Boy! Missed out on all your conversation again : ( LOVEMY3 - Feeling moody and crampy sounds like a great sign : ) Test and let us know ! VAL - Great to hear your little one is progressing fne : ) Sorry about the m/s ... I think it's great to have some to remind us of the pregnancy .... don't you think so? Re : The s_x and spotting (sorry for this late response) I had it and my ob/gynae said ... no no to s_x till she gave the go ahead (a couple of weeks back). Sorry ... no experience with Strep. TRACY - How's your headaches and stuffy nose??? I had those horrid headaches(lasted for 1 1/2 week) a few weeks back ... my ob/gynae said it's uncommon to have headeaches and migrains during pregnancy. My headaches were due to the smog in the air here and partly due the hornones. KD - How are doing? Horny ??? Not this pregnancy but I recall last pregnancy it was on my mind pretty often. HOPEFUL - How did you NT go??? I'm kinda worried too : ( COL - How your progress? My updates ... I've been busy with work ( missed out quite a bit of it) Anyway ... last Friday, we went for the monthly u/s and followup. Well .... our little one measured 14.1week last Friday (a couple of days ahead) and we saw our little one moving his(ob/gynae thinks it might be a boy) hands and legs on the u/s (an abdominal one).... kinda like waving to us. It's 2nd trimester for me : ) My ob/gynae brought forward the appointment for amnio to the 3rd Nov. I'm feeling kinda worried at the moment : ( really not sure what to expect. Take care : ) TTYL

Hello all - so sorry to have worried you! I couldn't post yesterday as I was out of town for the whole day and didn't get home til 1am!!! Everything was GREAT!!! I had my first abdominal ultrasound (feels like a real pregnancy now coz of that!! LOL!!) and the technician was fantastic and really rea__suring! I've got lots of lovely pictures although the 3D one screwed up - and we can't make out our bean's head - probably coz I was laughing occasionally during the test! TEE HEE HEE!! Never mind - the rest of the scan looked great and the bottom half of bean looks fine! As far as I can understand my NT measurement was 1.8mm (they also measured the nose - a newish test - but I don't understand that measurement at all!) and gave me good results SO FAR! (1:878 for Trisomy 21 and 1: 3131 for Trisomy 13/18) which appears to be way above average so that's great. They also tested my blood and I'll get the results from that in a few days and then on Tuesday next week I go back to my OB/Gyn to discuss the results as a whole and the next step that we want to take. What is great is how the technician (a Dr. himself) was so positive and everytime he measured or checked anything he said how good it looked. I was holding on to my dh's hand for dear life throughout the whole thing and after it was over I got a ma__sive headache as a result of all the stress!! Anyway, it seems that (like Sann) my EDD has been brought forward by a few days and that I'm now 13+5 today instead of 13+2 which is what my OB/Gyn had calculated. So it may be that I'm now be due on 26th April but I'm not going to a__sume I'm into my 2nd Trimester until next Monday - sticking to the original dates just in case! However, it is nice to think that things are going so smoothly that bean wants to see me and dh a little bit earlier!! ;- ))). By the way, my bean is now 7.71cm long (CRL) which is also spot on for the time. Great news. I feel so relieved and am now looking forward to the rest of the pregnancy with less trepidation. I even went to a few shops yesterday to scope out the maternity wear and baby stuff (bought two tops which don't look maternity so will be good for afterwards too!!) but I have to say it was all a bit overwhelming - too much pink and blue and I'm just not a pastel kind of girl. I think I'm going to have to tie-dye all the clothes so that bean looks a bit different!!! LOL!!! Still - we're a way off buying stuff yet and I'm also hoping that once I tell friends that I'm pregnant they'll want to donate loads of old stuff and then I won't have to do so much shopping (and, of course, even though baby showers are not something common around here, I think I'll hint to everyone that it's a GREAT idea!!) Anyway, thank you all again for your support during this time - your thoughts and wishes obviously worked and that is much appreciated. Enough of me ................ how is everyone? lovemy3 - so glad AF still isn't here. Fantastic news! What day this week could you safely say that you've missed it? Wednesday? I reeeeeeeeeally hope this is it for you! Sore knees - what a strange symptom but sounds like a positive one if you've felt it before. Good luck!!! Val - sounds like you had a good party. I so envy you living on a farm and having a party to build a shed. Sounds like great fun and right up my street (especially with your homemade hummous - Yummy!!) DH and I are also hoping to move to the country in the next few years so I can't wait for that. Town life is fine but I'm yearning for peace and quiet for me as well as my family. So sorry about the sudden puking - but hopefully it's like lovemy3 and is a sign of the m/s slowing down. Glad you're being sensible about work and not going if you're not feeling up to it. It's exhausting at the moment isn't it and I know EXACTLY what you mean about having to walk slowly instead of run! I can't even get across the road before the green man turns to red - what an old woman!! LOL!!!!!!!! Sorry to hear about the antibiotic saga - I wish I had some wise words but have no experience in this. All I can say is trust your doctor - s/he knows what s/he's doing. Tracy - what a horrible experience going to the ER. Not nice. At least you were in the right place though - well done for making that decision! - and you sound like you're on the mend as a result. Rest up and enjoy the sorbet - sounds yummy! (Mind you there's not much that's edible that doesn't sound yummy to me at the moment!!! LOL!!) KD - hope you're well and that you're getting in enough b-ding! It certainly sounds like you're thinking about it enough anyway!! LOL! Re. feeling h__y..........not particularly now although I was earlier on in the pregnancy. Now it seems that I'm still extremely sensitive so when we do make love it's fabulous!!!! Sann - CONGRATULATIONS on making it to your 2nd trimester!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so jealous!!!!!!!!! It sounds like everything's going great for you. I'm interested to know if the fact your ob/gynae thinks it might be a boy is due to the movement during the ultrasound. My bean was moving about some of the time but doesn't sound like it was as active as yours as the technician had to wake him/her up on one occasion!!! What amazed me the most about my ultrasound was watching the heart beat away - so clear and fast. Incredible!! Anyway, needless to say I'm a happy girl and can't wait to share the good news with my parents. *** One more question - are any of you suffering from constipation pains. Sometimes I find this really horrid and would love to know whether you have any natural remedies (I've tried yoga poses - looks a bit strange in the middle of the supermarket!! LOL!! - and I know prunes are the best way to get things moving ;-) ) ) but if you have any other suggestions that would be great! Speak to you all soon and sorry for the rambling but I felt I need to catch up on being silent yesterday!! Big Hugs and Belly Rubs to all!!

Wow, what great news Hopeful and Sann...wonderful updates and soooo happy this is all going so well. Congrats on wonderful scores for your tests Hopeful as well. tracy... hope you are still having some relief from your meds and are feeling better. Val... as far as the antibiotics go, I know most of them are fine to take, but for Group B strep here we take it through IV prior and during birth, not this early along, its more of a delivery thing. I have actually never tested positive but my friend had her baby last monday did and she had it in a iv. Also her baby was treated with iv as well right after birth and they had a 48 hour stay instead of 24 hour stay. So, I'm not sure but I wondering if treated this early, will it reoccur? I guess if they try and treat it now and it does go that would be greatbut, I would FOR SURE be rechecked prior to birth because it has serious consequences for baby if you are unaware you carry it, so if you treat early demand a retest close to birth. Sorry, that has happend, try not too worry. It won't be the same again if you have another baby, different each time usually. KD...How goes the wait..what day now? Lori Ann... how are things going...still out there? Col... hope you are well and progressing great, miss ya! As for me, CD30 and still NO af, symptoms sudsided for now, don't know if it will make a sneaky unexpected attack now or what its plan is-lol. Wishing I had some tests left..feeling like a smoker who has no smokes-lol. For the last 6 cycles the af day has been cd31, so tomorrow a.m will be interesting. I openned up my eyes this a.m. Kinda felt to see if it was there, I though Nope... walked to the washroom, prayed, then flipped on the lights....SLOWLy reached down to wipe with eyes closed then sat there afraid to look, then yelled no af, and my dh said "what the hell is Af" I started to laugh, he had no clue what i was talking about, pretty funny. As I am typing my cramps are returning, I'll keep you all posted. Don't y;'all wish this wiould just happen for me, you are probably sick of my minute by minute updates only for me to get my af-lol XOXO

Morning All, Lovemy3, I'm so sad for you. It's really frustrating & way too emotional. I wish I had something really profound to write that would make you feel better, but I don't. This whole process has gone from something fun to sad. I'm right there w/ you. You're not alone. I kind of gave up a little this month. After my binge coffee drinking when I got my AF & my heavy lifting, I haven't been able to stop. I'm just so pessimistic that I didn't even get OPK's. Last night I started to question whether we should even have another one. (AND I DO, but you start questioning everything, right?) Well, I wasn't really into bding last night, cause of the whole s_x on demand & questioning. Plus my husband's timing wasn't right (probably my lack of enthusiasm), so he doesn't think he fully unloaded if you know what I mean. ANd best of ALL, I'm like 99% sure todays my "O" day. So I'm quite disheartened. I'm just trying to keep in mind that there are pregnant women on this post that have tried way longer than us & are now preggers. Of course I don't want to have to wait as long as some of them, but it's out of our hands. So I say drink up that double latte w/ an extra shot of espresso, cry & have your pity party...I'll listen and then join me back here in our quest to conceive.
