Hello ladies, thanks for your support, I just got back from the hospital. They did blood work, my HCG is way more than doubling, Feb 21 it was 1381, and today Feb 24 its 6875. so that’s a good sign. They did not do any ultrasound, because it’s too early to see anything, I was lucky to find my OB there in the hospital, and she gave me Progesterone supplements and recommended bed rest. So now it’s in God’s hands. Thanks again for all of you. love you all. Ttyl

COL, take it easy and get on that progesterone right away. Did the doc give you oral or suppositories? Regardless, I am glad things seem ok. You will be in my thoughts!

I feel so bad for you. If I lived near you, I'd be there in a heartbeat to offer you some encouragement and support. I have to say that MANY women spot, more than you would think. Try not to read too much either because you will always find something that spooks you and then that will be the one thing that sticks in your mind to torment you. I can't expect you not to be freaking out right now, because the first night that I saw blood, I cried and told my husband that I thought I was losing the baby. My heart was broken, and I was numb, in shock. All I can say is I bled for about two weeks, but the baby was fine, so try to keep your chin up ok?

Col - I'm so glad that things are OK. (Sorry it took me so long to reply - different timezones SUCK when you're in an emergency situation - it's early morning here and the first thing I wanted to do was check that you were alright.) The progesterone supplements will make you feel much better and more confident. I was prescribed them when I had to go to hospital when I was on holiday in Italy right at the start of my pregnancy (due to cramping pains) and I'm nearly 32 weeks now. Make sure you rest and try not to worry. Like Tracy said - don't read up on this sort of stuff as it'll just make you feel worse. You've seen the doctor's in the hospital and they've rea__sured you and that is the best and only real piece of advice you need. Stick with that and you and baby will be fine. Thinking of you and sending you big hugs and positive feelings. Love XOXOXOX

Punkin - great to hear from you again. Sorry that you're having pelvic pain. Perhaps you need to compare notes with BM5 or Val who has similar pain and they may have some suggestions. Hope everyone else is well. Must go and have some breakfast!! XOXOXOX

Good morning, Tracy, I am sure if you are close I would of have a real friend, the one I don’t have now, thanks for the advice and the support, you are right about not reading to much, the net is full of good information, but its also full of information that is not accurate and its not based on facts. It’s hard to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong. But the bottoms line is after all the readings, spotting, is not an uncommon thing, almost 50% of pregnant women spot at certain point in there pregnancies. Hopeful, thank you, I am sure this is what you did first thing in the morning, I know you by now, you are such a caring sweet person, your positive vibes, were good for all the girls on this thread, and I am sure that all the women here agree with me. Did I tell you ladies, that every time I need to check on something if its normal or not, I go back to the old threads of this one and check on each one of your updates, its amazing how much info there, its like a diary for each one. I think you ladies should save all of those threads; they are precious moments of your lives. I did not sleep well last night , I was scared to move, and I woke up this morning and I am still spotting, what makes me feel a little bit comfortable is that I do not have any cramps with it, which is good sign. my husband is in his way, he will be here in 3- 4 hours. I think I talk to much, love you all, and ttyl

COL, I don't have any close friends where I live either, so that's why I am on this computer so much. I find great support, get a lot of laughs, and connect with others that I normally wouldn't have ever met. The sad thing is that people drop off of here, or you know you will never meet anybody that you've just spent a year getting to know, etc.... I'm glad your DH will be home soon if he is not already. You need him right now. When do you think you will be able to start the progesterone?

Punkin, sorry not trying to ignore you! I hope your pelvic pain eases soon. I had it for about 4 to 5 days in December and it was pretty bad. The first night I couldn't sleep and almost went to the ER.

Col - I'm so glad you're sounding so much better. I know the spotting is still there but at least you know it's fairly common and as you haven't got any pain it's probably nothing to worry about. Great to hear your husband is on his way home - it'll be such a relief to have a hug and someone else to make you a nice warm drink. Relax and let him pamper you. You'll have your progesterone tomorrow and you'll feel so much better. When do you see the doctor again? Remember - if you feel AT ALL insecure - ring the doctor straight away. Don't feel embarra__sed or awkward about bothering them as that's what they're there for! **** Re. keeping these posts as a diary. That's exactly what I'm doing. Every day I post something I save it into a word doc_ment and now I have over 40 pages (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) which are so exciting to read. They span from just before I got pregnant this time and so are a real catalogue of events! I think they'll make a very interesting read in years to come and I totally recommend everyone here to do it! ********* My news - well today I really noticed the colostrum coming in - it was leaking a little from both b___sts. VERY EXCITING to think that I'll be keeping my baby alive purely on what I produce for at least the first 4 months. I was shocked, overwhelmed and gigglishly (good word eh? LOL!!!) happy to see it. Can't wait for the real milk to come in! Fantastically surreal but wonderfully comforting. Another step towards motherhood. Wow!! Anyway, I'm off to my Italian cla__s now so had better sign off. Hope everyone's having a lovely lazy Sunday. TTYL XOXOXOXOX

lovemy3 - sorry we crossed paths. CD33 and still no AF - that's a good sign isn't it? I'm sure I remember you saying that your previous BFPs were a bit elusive at the beginning so don't give up hope yet. Fingers, toes and every hair on my whole body crossed for you!! Baby Dust too! XOXOXOX
